Carrier iPhone 7/7+ AT&T Pre-Order Thread

Mine never switched to backorder .. unless it did since this morning ... I checked this morning then said I wasn't checking anymore and then just got my shipped confirmation randomly

This is the 1st time I pre ordered thru Apple app and didn't get my phone on launch day. Every time I've ordered thru Apple I got it day of release

Yes

There are 3 flights currently in the air from Louisville to Dallas

Once they get to Dallas, the phones will be separated out and shipped Fedex to your nearest hub.

I'm hoping mine is on one of those 3 as it'll get me in Dallas with 3 hours to get me on one of the two Fedex planes to Memphis tonight.

Got it. I assume Louisville is the first stop for all iPhones after being shipped from China? Then it gets to AT&T distribution center in Dallas?

I see why AT&T orders take longer now - they have one more center to go through than ordering directly from apple.com.

I finally got my 7+, love it, the home button is weird feeling at first, but I like it. Glad I got the 256GB Silver, looks so sleek. I'm a happy customer. Good luck to everyone in their attempts to get their iPhones.

UPDATE to my original post. Just received a shipment notification e-mail. FedEx tracking number, although not yet showing available in their system.

I originally thought about MB or JB, but saw the dates were pushed back, and figured Silver would get here quicker, which is did, somewhat, plus I have a Silver 6S+ so I figured I'd stay with the color, I like the White front.

Some people on this thread have complained about orders that were placed after theirs being shipped before theirs. In my case I've seen somewhat the opposite. I've seen orders that had shipping windows after mine being shipped, but when they posted the time that they placed their order it was before mine. So, therefore, things are right.

I'm glad to see the que start to move. There is still hope that mine will come soon, perhaps still early.

Louisville is the main hub for UPS. All shipments originate from Louisville.

Yes. Foxconn is in China. The phones ship from the factories in China, to Anchorage for US Customs, then to Louisville.

The more and more I look at the matte black pictures the more I like it lol. If i find in an apple store a plus in matte black before my jet black has any movement im switching over lol. Someone else can have my jet black lol!
