Well thats better than any CS I spoke too, they all said "it will ship between 9/30 - 10/7" I asked what the "specific" status of the order was and was told and they said "it will ship between 9/30 - 10/7" I stopped calling after hearing that for the forth or fifth time.
Long time lurker of this thread since pre-order day here! Was able to finally snag a 256gb MB 7P at the apple store yesterday and get rid of my 32GB. Just wanted to wish you guys the best of luck with the new wave of shipments this week! Hope you all get the phone you want 
Alright. Mine says back order through 6737 now. I am extremely confused on this though as last night I got the email about shipping pushed out to late November. Either they started really putting orders on back order or that email was a bunch of bs.

Many people in this forum had mentioned that they just walked into the store and gave their old phone back. I also spoke to a couple of AT&T stores (went to the store) and they just said bring in the phone as soon as you got the new phone. I will try my luck tonight or tomorrow.
FYI - AT&T did add the return label to the new phone's packaging.

Thats the truth. Between the spam text about the trade in and the whole backordered is good vs backorder could now be bad AT&T has proved to be the ultimate troll to some on this board haha.
Finally this morning I went on backorder!!!! 7plus jet black original ship dates October 14-21. Order date at launch 3:02 est. finallllllllly some movement

I did chat with them last night after that email. When it was going nowhere I did mention being out of contract so I could go with whoever gets me the phone first before leaving the chat though.
Well I just had a some excitement followed by complete and utter letdown. Received this email from UPS a couple minutes ago
Saw Fort-Worth being the origin and got really excited...then saw the package weight was .2 Lbs, figured something was up and then double checked UPS My Choice and kinda just laughed when I saw it is a package from Amazon

I've been following this thread and doing my best to be patient. I just checked on 6737 and it says back ordered. Fingers crossed this is good news and they didn't update their statuses. Gonna be a long day waiting for shipping notification.

I was not, and just for clarification this is NOT my phone being shipped but a package coming to me from Amazon, it just happened to originate in Fort Worth and got me excited for a second as I thought maybe it was my phone, it is not though
