Carrier iPhone 7/7+ AT&T Pre-Order Thread

Look what FedEx just dropped off! I also have a clear skin for the back coming today, so I'm leaving the Apple film on the back until that comes. Don't want to get this shiny new toy scratched up! Good luck to everyone who is still waiting. Also, FedEx didn't ask for a signature. He knocked on the door and by the time I opened the door, the box was laying there and the delivery person was gone.

EDIT: 256 JB 7+, ordered on 9/9 at 3:41am. Said preparing to ship until Sunday morning then went straight to shipped.

I think I am an exlusion to this "Preparing for shipment screen". My order was hung up for some reason and it got fixed so then it showed preparing for shipment. However, me and tekjunkie show "Pending Shipment" in the tracking screen. If you can please go to att.com on a desktop to see if your has that under the tracking number spot!

It will say literally say "Preparing to ship" until it ships. Most got that status right after the first day of pre-orders and a lot of people still have it (almost 3 weeks later). That site also will not update beyond that until it ships. What you want to do is check the status by dialing *6737#. Once that number tells you it's back ordered, then you will be shipping soon.

Randomly went on Best Buy.com and saw that they had a few Matte Black Pluses in stock so I ordered one literally 3 or 4 hours ago. Already received the tracking number and it's arriving tomorrow, despite the fact that I did not choose, or pay for 1 day delivery lol. Completely painless transaction. AT&T needs to learn something from this!

I stopped reading for awhile and need to ask... I just checked *6737# and found that I am in back order status. I check att.com/checkmyorder/omhub.rt and it says I am in progress, still.

Where do I stand as far as actually getting my new iPhone?

But the only ones that they will ship quickly are 32GB

Yeah just got mines after ordering it Sunday! Completely crazy how AT&T is behind! I ordered it TWO DAYS AGO, and I got it today it's unreal!

That's just the way that version of the website displays it. It does the same for me as well.

Matte black plus 256GB Ordered 9/18 at AT&T store. Original ship date 10/14-10/21

Just received a notification that it's shipped. Don't know when it'll arrive yet as the tracking number is not pulling up any info at UPS.

Hope everyone will receive their phone soon.

The Best Buy website shows the trade-in deal so I'm assuming you can (I'm not trading in for the record so I don't know the particulars). You may want to call and verify first if you plan on ordering through Best Buy
