The mail is bogus so far. AFAIK all the times someones phone went to back order they go shipping info within 24hours typically
Original ship date on Silver plus was in mid-October range. Can't remember the exact date
Im 99% sure Apple holds back inventory to produce demand. Makes not since. Theres no way they can produce that many phones in days.

I got that email and my phone has been back ordered since that day which was two days ago iirc. They make you accept the new ship dates or the order will be cancelled.

Just a measly 32GB!! I ordered a small one thinking it'd get here quicker than the higher demand memory sizes... I was wrong.. very, very wrong!!
Be glad it's only a week..... I got that email earlier this week and went from 9/30 - 10/7 to 11/18-11/28 as did a couple others.

Not so sure on that. My phone went into backorder right after accepting that email (next morning) and has now been in back order for over 2 days.
Awesome! It's still only 8:47am here so no delivery yet for me, says by 8pm via fedex but I'm working from home today...hopefully it comes much earlier.My baby was just delivered! Luckily I'm working close to home today so I can run there on lunch and nurse it for a bit

Hi, guys been following this forum for few weeks now, sad to see such a slow process for people who pre ordered. I always pre order with apple and always got my phone on the day it came out. This time i placed my order at the AT&t store on 9/16 around 8pm for iphone 7+ MB 128 with shipping dates 10/21-10/28. My husband got just the 7 MB 128 and it shipped out the 18th and was delivered 21 (which is actually his birthday so that was nice gift) with UPS. After he got his phone i'm no longer able to check *6737# and my status been in prepering to ship/pending shipping all this time. I'm not expecting it now, but i am hoping it will be at least a week or two earlier seeing that people who ordered later have been getting their phones already.

I remember people on here giving info on planes carrying phones that are landing here in the states. How do you guys find this kind of info and can someone give us an update on the planes carrying our devices, please?
Did you receive any updates on your order status? or did it just randomly show up without being on back order, shipping info, etc. also where did you pre order?

7 planes en route to Anchorage. I believe we have more then the expected number of planes come into the US this morning/late last night.
Once they land in Louisville KY from Anchorage who knows where they go. Ive seen phones ship out of Dallas and Memphis.

I was told that a FedEx truck zoomed past my house when entering and leaving the neighborhood. Not a happy camper right now but maybe that was Ground vs Express or whatever they're called since I think at least two FedEx trucks drive through here each day. It was a different driver so if they are new or forgot then they'll have to come back since no attempt was made. We'll see. Hopefully I'll have mine soon.
