Same here. There is still at least one more MD11 UPS plane coming in this morning.
I know my dates are at the end of October but I guess I am just hoping.

If you're already on a Next plan and have hit you're upgrade time but not the end of your contract term and have not paid for the full price of the phone don't be tempted by the Best Buy website - you won't be able to order online even if you cancel your AT&T order and are eligible for an upgrade. And ordering in store only pulls from the local warehouses and isn't guaranteed to be the same shipping times as shown on the website. I had a good and informative conversation yesterday with the guys in the cell phone dept. at my local Best Buy. Your only chance through Best Buy is if you happen to find one in stock at a store. If you are buying outright or not already on a Next plan...order away...
a new update has came out since the arrival of the new iphone. I think if I upgrade my current phone to 10.0.2 then when my new phone arrives I wont be able to restore from icloud. I would have to set up phone as new, do the software update then erase all settings then start over but then I can restore from icloud because my new iphone and my iphone 6s plus would both be on 10.0.2 isn't that correct? sorry if I am not making sense
Yes, You would have to start the iPhone 7 as new phone and update it. Then you would need to erase it and start over set up with your cloud account. It doesn't take very much longer. the setting up as a new phone doesn't take anywhere near as long as from the cloud.
You should be fine. Two years ago my 4S was updated to iOS 8.1 while my 6 Plus I was waiting for was iOS 8.0. I just restored from iCloud then updated the software after that.
However, that was during the time when people were having issues of not being able to make or receive calls from your old phone when they were restoring from iCloud.
Long story short, do I think you will have any issues? My answer is I don't think so, but I'm not 100% sure. Anyone please feel free to correct me if I am wrong! You could always restore your iPhone by connecting it to iTunes on your computer.
...Or you could do what mscampingdiva just mentioned above.

You are right. You will have to go through the set up until it asks you to download 10.0.2. Then erase all settings and start over. You will then be able to restore from backup. I just did this last night. I am now up and running.
Figured I'd finally chime in, been following along for a while. I've got two phones on order 7+ 128 Silver and 7+ 128 MB. Ordered on 9/15 so I know I'm pretty late to the party. Original ship dates were mid Oct for the silver and late Oct for the MB. I got shipping notification last night for the silver, no change on the MB. So my wife's phone will be here today, still waiting on mine.
Same here. I think most people in here who have yet to see any sort of movement feel the same way.
My credit card kept getting declined from AT&T for some reason so I wasn't actually able to complete an order until Friday the 16th. I ended up going with a 7+ MB 128GB and it looks like it's STILL preparing to ship with an estimated ship date of 10/21 to 10/28.
Yeah, I forgot to mention that part. I mainly posted about Best Buy in case anyone met the requirements to purchase from them if they wanted an alternative order method. Thanks for bringing that up though!
My phone is going to arrive today! *6373# never went to back ordered. I checked it and it said "in progress" at 2:30p, on 09/29, and at 2:41p I received an email notifying me that it had been shipped. UPS tracking information shows the order was processed at 5:42a on 9/29.

So close to me. I ordered the 7+ 128 Silver on 9/18 with mid October ship dates. As little as I've seen people ordering the silver mine has got to be soon.
Been following since day one... I haven't posted much but I have been in on these preorder threads since the 3GS launch and this has been the worst ever. I am currently stuck "in progress" or "preparing to ship" status like many of you.
With that said, It has been way too quiet over the past couple of days. Hopefully we see some significant movement today.

That's awesome. I'm very happy for you! However, based on how things have been going, I doubt that I'd be that lucky.
