Carrier iPhone 7/7+ AT&T Pre-Order Thread

^^^^^ oh I am LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm in sprint. Just imagine how good my service will be when we switch to AT&T
 
As this thread was started as a pre-order thread; is there anyone left who placed their order on 9/9 that is not at least in back order status yet?

7+ 128GB JB ordered at 8AM EST 9/9. Still not on backorder. Estimated ship dates 10/28-11/4.

I pre-ordered a 7+ 128GB JB on the 13th which is still considered as a pre-order and still no movement yet.

Me! I pre ordered 128 JB 7+ on 9/9 at 7:32a CST and still in progress via phone, text, and website :(.
 
Guys I really need my phone now... I ran 8 miles with my 4s worked fine today got home, get cleaned up, and go to sync my watch phones dead... its be on the charger a couple of hours and hasn't turned on :(

One of my colleagues had issues with his 4S recently where it died and never turned back on, so he finally upgraded. And what I mean by "upgraded" is that he now owns a [used] 5. Haha...

Thanks I'm still in shock. I sure hope shipping don't take as long. There was hardly any movement today.

Heck maybe you'll get backorder and then get shipping before me. This whole system is screwy. I plan on being on here for weeks still. I like talking and reading what's going on. Fingers crossed for you!!!

It might not be your "black thumb" so much as the 4S is just an old model, since it has been approximately five years now since it was released. A friend of ours wanted our old 4S a few months ago, but we couldn't even get it to charge.

Even our old iPad Mini 1, which is about a year newer than the 4S, is essentially a brick. While it still works, for the most part, it is extremely slow.

This whole concept is known as "planned obsolescence," where companies purposely make products that are meant to basically fail over time so consumers have to go out and upgrade to a newer product.

(Sorry. I had my professor hat on for a second. I just put my beanie back on. :p)

I don't think apple builds to purposely obselete. It's hard to build anything to last over 3 years when it is on constantly the entire time, environmental changes,drops, battery cycling and the works. If they did plan the 4s to last 5 years it would of cost me about 60 dollars a year at that point so... not to shabby

Engineering grad student btw :)

For those of you who have decided on the JB color. I know many of you have already picked out cases, but has anyone had any experience with phone skins from (specifically the "naked" option) from slickwraps or best skins ever? I change up cases pretty often and the thought of messing up the JB finish just from trying to keep my phone protected scares me. What cases are you all considering?

I bought one for my jet black model so when I receive the phone it'll be fully protected
