Carrier iPhone 7/7+ AT&T Pre-Order Thread

I have too! My students were curious as to what the jet black looked like in person, so I took it off for a few minutes. Another small gripe about the case I'm currently using is since it is a dual-layered case, it has been a minor nuisance to take it on and off.

Just got that case in. Not real sure how I feel about it. It fits the phone well, but not sure how i feel about the back of it. It has a sticky feel almost and shows finger prints pretty well. We will see. I will give it a shot for awhile, but might have to go back to the ol' trusty apple leather case.

I most definitely would. I looked on AT&T and shipping is Nov 27- Dec 5th. and Apple says 3-4 weeks still. SO ridiculous. It's been 3 weeks since launch, and this is a pretty easy/standard phone. What gives?!

What kind of phone did you order? I would really look into canceling and getting from Apple

Just a 32gb Rose Gold 7+. If Apple says 3-4 weeks, and AT&T says my ship dates start on the 18th... I don't want to change it now unfortunately. Only way I would is if we have in store availability at one of the local AT&T stores (Apple store is almost 2 hours away)

Why do they have to tease some of us like that?! Some people get them right after BO status, and some of us have to be tortured and wait weeks while in that status. There's no consistency!

Finally... received 128 GB att iPhone 7+ matte black today. UPS did leave a note on the door; I had missed the delivery guy by 30 minutes. To UPS credit, they did send the guy back out instead of making me pick it up at the UPS center. Other lessons learned: Preorder from Apple if you want any hope of getting the new iPhone near launch day. I will refer to this experience as THE ORDEAL. Good luck to everyone on here still waiting!

It said back order with *6737# and the 866 number, the site still said preparing to ship. Once it shipped everything said shipped also received text and email

How's it going? Haven't been on here since Wednesday! I ended up ordering a new case that should arrive in the next 4-5 hours (clear case with grip). Hopefully it will be awesome!

I mean, I like the case I am using at the moment, but it hides the back of the phone, which I want to show off because the jet black is gorgeous!

I've also been looking at the Skyfall cases from Caseology, but someone mentioned that the back can cause air bubbles with the jet black phone. Do any of you have either one of these cases? What do you think?

That's kind of a bummer! I looked into that case, but seeing customer pictures of it showed that the back was more matte than clear, which is a deal breaker for me.

FYI if you backed up your phone to a pic running vista you will not be able to restore your data to an iPhone 7. Apparently iTunes lates update won't work with vista, and the iPhone 7 will only work with the lates version of iTunes. Make sure you backup your phone using the cloud. I used the cloud as well as my pic and we are have issues with the cloud. Thanks Apple another awesome roll out. I don't understand why the iPhone 6 running iOS 10 works on iTunes, but not the 7. Sorry for the rant.
