your best bet for the fastest receiving time would be to order from Apple's website, reserve one in store, or go to 3rd party retailed (Best Buy, Target, etc.)

I ordered the same exact phone on 9/23 4:39 pm EST. I really am hoping for progress this week!!

However, this case is very similar to my old clear case that I used for my 6 Plus, which never had that issue. There's no space between the case and my phone for it to do something like that.

Hmm which one did you get that it doesn't stick? I could see it not sticking to a 6 because they weren't glossy. It happens as soon as I hold my phone with my fingers on the back.

No apple store locally or within 200 miles. And all retails are out of stock here. :(

Since I ordered the same phone on 9/18 and received a shipping notice yesterday I bet you hear something in the next couple of days.

It's the material the case was made with that's causing this issue. This is an issue that cases on the lower end suffer from due to the materials used in the construction. It's just more noticeable now due to the glossy finish on the JB. That's why I'm paying extra for the Otterbox as it uses better materials for construction and is UV resistant. The below video is for the 6/6s, but same principle...

Given the amount of money these phones cost, there's no WAY I would trust it's protection to a cheap case...

I don't think it's necessarily lower end vs high end. Of course if you put a hard plastic case on it's not going to give the same effect. A hard case will also break and scratch easier. Otterbox is just a name, it doesn't mean they use any better plastic than anyone else.

If you watch the vide you can clearly see there is a difference. Different case manufacturers use different materials for their cases depending on the price point their trying to acheive. TPU / PC / Silicone etc.. etc..If I'm a case manufacturer and I'm trying to enter the market at a lower price point, I can either use higher end materials and receive less profit, or use lower end materials and receive more profit. I'm willing to bet they go the path of cheaper materials to allow for higher profits.

Scratch and breakage all tie back to the material used. Otterbox cases are drop tested and rated for their protection. I would rather scratch my case than my phone anytime...how many other manufacturers can make this same claim? Oh and part of the price goes towards charity, so I'm getting a good quality phone case and giving back at the same time...

I got 2 mb 7+ 256 in after about 1 week. I ordered the 23 and they were shipped the 29th and got them bothe on oct 3rd. Still waiting on the rsg 32 7+ tho ordered thru ATT

Did you order yours at a store or on-line? Ordered mine on-line 9-21 and got a ship date of 11-4 to 11-12.

I've never had a case that sticks, this one included. The one I am currently using is the LUVVITT Clear Grip case. Like I mentioned earlier, there isn't any space between the case and the back of the phone for it to create any sort of bubble or oily effect. My 6 Plus case was a basic clear case from Insignia.

While Otterbox does make some quality cases, I find that they are always on the bulky side for me (even those that say they are "slim fit").

I ordered in store on 9/23 with a estimated ship date of 11/4-11/11. 128gb MB 7+. I'm hopeful it ships this coming week.

ordered the same phone on the same day as you! from what i have seen, they are fulfilling ~9/18 orders right now so if ours don't ship this week, i would say early next week *fingers and toes crossed*

I ordered a 7+ MB 128gb in store on 9/22 with an estimated ship date of 11/3-11/10. Hoping to see movement in the next few days as well. Been stalking this thread and #6737# daily. Longest I've ever had to wait sadly, only went through AT&T for the $650 trade in so trying to be patient.

I ordered the same phone as you, but on 9/23. and same, i am only sticking with the AT&T order because of the $650 credit, otherwise I would have ordered through Apple.

Same phone, same order date, same shape dates. I am also staying because of the $650 trade in. Have a 6+, love it, but looking forward to the improved camera.
