Carrier iPhone 7/7+ AT&T Pre-Order Thread

I had great luck with cancelling my 128 GB matte black 7 Plus and reordering for a 256 GB matte black Plus. Originally ordered the 128 via AT&T on 10/10, only to have shipping estimates of 11/18 - 11/28 with zero movement. Cancelled and reordered online on 11/4, with shipping estimates now between 11/7 - 11/9.

In hindsight, after originally feeling the 128 was enough room, I do feel better about the 256. I'm also running with a busted 6S+ plus for the moment, so needless to say I'm antsy about getting my new 7 plus.

How do you cancel?
 
Just got a text an email that my iphone 7 plus matte black- 256 gigs just shipped today, through USPS. Usps makes me worry but i hope that everything will be fine. I cancelled the order I made on October 8th for the 128 gigs because i really got sick of waiting. On friday I made a new order that apparently last night got cancelled by ATT themselves. After going through hell with them on the phone I had to go to a store to confirm my identity and make yet another new order just last night on the 7th. Finally shipped though. It's too early to track it because USPS shows nothing on it yet. Now comes the next part of the waiting game.
 
I have a question. On apple.com, it says jet black iphone+'s will ship in 3-5 weeks.

I ordered my jet black+ 128gb on October 23rd with a shipping estimate of December 12-19.

Does that mean I'll get my phone before then? It doesn't seem fair that people who order two weeks after me still get their phones earlier.

I believe it's the 256 GB phones that are shipping faster. My company ordered me a MB 128 GB 7+ on 10/13 and my expected ship date has been 11/25 - 12/2 the whole time. Crazy it's taking this long.

no, the 3-4 weeks estimate is for both 128gb and 256gb jet black+

May want to read this thread more carefully. There are a lot of people who canceled their weeks old order for a 32 GB or 128 GB phone and ordered the 256 GB version (Deadliseven, LushMojo, and B0nnieNclyde to name a few). The 256 GB version shipped out within a few days. It's obvious the actual wait time for a 256 GB is considerably less than the 32 GB or 128 GB varieties.

Uh ok. I believe actual occurrences and real life over "estimations".

Sorry, according to "futurejetblackowner" that's just not possible. The wait is positively 3-4 weeks.

A few days ago someone at my work ordered a 256 GB JB from AT&T and it shipped within 2 days. I'm telling you (which you don't seem to believe and that's fine), the 256 GB phones are shipping fast.

they really are because i ordered mine in store one day and the very next it was shipped.

I referred to all 256 GB phone varieties and the example I gave was a Jet Black, the exact kind you want. If you weren't so stubborn you could have already had a Jet Black 256 GB in your hands (with finger prints and all).

But, I'm not interested in getting a 256gb jet black+. It would be nice to get the phone sooner and have all of that memory, but not everyone is made of money.
[doublepost=1478726943][/doublepost]Good news: The shipping estimates for the 128gb jet blacks are now December 1st - December 8th if you order today. I talked to an AT&T rep and she told me that my phone should ship 2.5 weeks before that since I ordered 2.5 weeks ago.

I have faith.
 
Just cancelled my order from the AT&T store and ordered a jet black 7+ from Best Buy. Hopefully, it will be available for pickup tomorrow. After we made our order, it said there none left in stock. I really hope there wasn't another person who ordered right before us.

i got my 7 plus yesterday and i'm so happy with it. i didn't like having to wait for it but cancelling my 128 for a 256 was the best idea and i should have done it long ago instead of waiting 5 weeks. hope that all of you get yours shipped soon so that you can enjoy it like me. bye!
 
I'm loving my JB 7+ after a couple hours of use. I'm usually a white fanatic (every one of my apple products is white), but I really wanted to switch it up and don't regret it.

Now I just have to keep this jet black scratch-free lol
