For an idea of how AT&T process phone for delivery, please enjoy this video. In past years when I've ordered from AT&T, and gotten my iPhone on launch day, on Wednesday/Thursday is when changes started to appear on AT&T's website and when checking orders on the phone. It never shipped or moved before Thursday, which is when I typically got my shipping information.

This was in the downtown New York Apple Store so it makes sense thats people are lining up early its downtown. if you live in a smaller area then I'm sure youre fine going a day early or even earlier.

It's really fun actually everyone is crazy just like you and they order pizza and drink and play games then Apple feeds you in the am and gives u coffee. So worth it

Nope, I'm in the same boat. Ordered mine at 2:58am EST 9/9. I spoke with a chat rep and they said that there will be Jet Blacks shipped on release day, but there will definitely be back-orders.

Jesus the butthurt in this PDF is massive. It's not like Apple has refused to give these people the phone. Their system had problems and they are still going to offer it to the people in the program.

I'm in Chicago and my phone shipped but I will camp out with you because I wanted Matte Black and ordered Gold because the Matte black estimated shipping it was giving me was early October. I ordered at 12:02 through AT&T website and got a ship date of 9/23-9/30 for both phones. Then I had to cancel one of the orders and put a new one in at about 7:30am. ☹️️ The new order still has the same shipping date. I am praying both come at the same time AND that maybe both will come Friday.

12:02 phone is the 7+ 256 black
7:30ish phone is the 7+ 256 rose gold

My account has both orders processing but I am figuring those charges will drop off since they are from 9/9.

Same thing except I got the 128g. Charge disappeared from my bank account but order still reads as "preparing to ship" so my concern of having my order cancelled has kinda subsided but ill feel much better once I get a tracking number

I honestly don't know. The only silver lining is that ATT says I still have an order. If/when I hear anything ill be sure to let everyone on here know. For what its worth I bank with Navy Federal.

I just cant be telling everyone but ill tell again yes. They are overnighted and considered high value items. so you are required to sign. but you opt it out by presign but you bite if it get lost or stolen after they scan deliver and drop it at your door step or whatever you tell them you drop your pacakge at (back door,back yard and blah blah)

False. My last 2 iPhones coming from FedEx did not require a signature.

I bank with chase, it's a good sign for it to disappear because that means they are about to put the real charge through not just the hold which means it's about to ship.
