I own an iPhone 7 and my girlfriend owns a 7 plus.

Both phones have been freezing regularly, where the screen, home and power button becomes unresponsive, forcing us to restart the phones by holding the power and volume button simultaneously.

My 7 has also frozen in another way where the screen randomly goes black and displays the spinning wheel thing. Again, the only way to fix is by a force restart.

Are other 7/7 plus owners experiencing similar issues?

I have experienced similar issues when in fb messenger or trying to type it seems to freeze and then once I restart the phone it's better until a day or so later when the same thing happens again.

I have had this issue come up... but I wouldn't call it regularly. Maybe twice I had to soft reset in the month I have owned it.

It's happened to me twice, both within an hour but Hasn't happened since. It was SUPER annoying. Hopefully all these bugs will be fixed in 10.1

Anyone with 10.1 see bug fixed.
I'm on the latest 10.1 (beta 5), and, unfortunately, I suddenly got this issue about 2 days ago. My phone froze up and went to the lock screen. Nothing responded but it would flicker to life every 10 seconds or so (back to lock screen) and continue to be unresponsive. I eventually soft reset it. Then today, it randomly froze up *after* I locked it and wouldn't come on (unresponsive) until I soft reset.

Mine is just home and power button. Screen still works. It's the clicks on the buttons are delayed and unresponsive and then all the click come through eventually

Glad that I'm not the only one. I'm sure its only software related, however they should fix it quick considering its Apple's flagship phone!

Yes. Two different 7 Pluses, received last week. Both freeze at random times. No amount of pressing the home button helps. Then all of a sudden, a minute or two later, it works again. Two phones. Must be iOS or hardware problem.

Has happened to me too. 7Plus. Probably 6 or 7 times. Not impressed......

People cut this company too much slack. Clearly it rushed this product out the door, even saying that the "portrait" feature of the Plus would not be ready until an iOS update that is yet to appear. Pathetic.
[doublepost=1477313217][/doublepost]Widespread issue:

Apple's canned responses are pathetic--and ineffective.

Had a couple of freezes but after a couple minutes it recovered on its own. I had my dock icons disappear yesterday. All the home screen icons were there and I could move to other screens but no dock icons. Went to notification screen and then back and the dock reappeared. Camera app will launch with blurred out view. Have to kill app and relaunch.

None are showstoppers and I anticipate most will be fixed by 10.2.

The dock icons issue happened to me with my iPhone 6, also a friend with an iPhone 6 plus. This sucks.

I've now installed 10.1. Not sure whether this update will fix the freezes. People should report back here if they find that it does.

My freezes are worse on 10.1 if anything.

Interesting. I have not had one since 10.1. However, I'm not yet using the 7 as my main phone, so it might just be a matter of time using it. I don't trust this phone yet.
