I'm not sure if the timeline even matters. I saw people on this thread that ordered at 2pm, and 5:30pm and they already have their phone. I think it has more to do with location and availability in that area.

Purposely waited until those who pre-ordered early got their tracking/good news to start complaining, LOL.
I will be the last pre order to receive anything.
I ordered late in the game, but still annoyed that my PRE-order is so late. Will definitely be my first and last pre-order. I'll just go straight to a Sprint store, or whatever carrier I'm with for iPhone 8.
Yeah, I won't pre order again like this either. I'll just wait two months or so and get one online or at Apple when the supply chain catches up to demand.

Me too. I ordered online on 9/15. Considering I ordered a JB 128+, and taking in to account all the production woes they seem to be having on the JB's, I suspect I'll be here till Christmas.

I placed my order 9/14 7+ MB 128 GB, I actually tried to place it on launch day but Sprint screwed up the payment I made for the phone I have now so I couldn't order until then.

Usually my UPS guy delivers between 3-4pm like clockwork for years no matter what the package is. When it came to this phone he delivered it at 6:30pm. I was bugging thinking oh hell they lost it again.
Sprint Reps be like..

Does anyone have any insight about how long the other carriers are taking to get phones? I ordered a silver 7+ 128, and don't expect to receive until late October/early November. Though I feel I shouldn't complain as folks who pre-ordered are still waiting, I am pretty annoyed in general at this lack of of foresight by whomever is responsible.
How restrained are supplies REALLY? I have YET to see a single 7+ in the wild. As a matter of fact, I have seen ONE iPhone 7 at all, and it was a 7 JB my friend got from T-Mobile on launch day.

It's Apple really. The blame for piss poor fulfilling of orders anyway.

Yeah. I see by checking the Apple website that ALL 7+ Silver 128GB ship in 3-4 weeks. My question is: Besides ME, who else is ordering them? it seems to me that nearly everyone is getting a black variation, and the occasional rose gold.

Other than mine, 1 person and her husband. They ordered on 9/9 in the morning. She got hers a day after I received mine. Don't know his color but she has RG.
Just the worker in the sprint store besides my wife's rose gold come to think of it lol.
I sent my two "6's" back and the tracking shows they were delivered but my bill is still showing the $400 for this month.
I'm simply planning to pay my bill minus the $400 and go from there. I'm not a fan of the "refund" option or process with anyone.
I haven't seen any 7+ in the wild yet. But my Friends got both their 7+ JB 128GB today and they are on T-Mobile.
I had the 7+ in both MB & RG. I had ordered on 9/10 and received both phones on 9/30.
That said, I haven't seen or really noticed anyone else having an 7 so far. It kind of weird because it seems half the plant ordered one of the models yet again, I've only seen the two I ordered and received.
