They weren't very helpful. Just told me that the release for the plus models is the 30th and to not except delivery before then. Well looks like that was incorrect information lol.

HA. Yeah that is all the keep telling me too. You have given me hope! :) I ordered at 4:30-5AM EST. The exact same phone. Sprint customer service isn't helpful at all.

Yeah, with reading the issues regarding certain plus models/JB being unavailable, I'm kind of glad I won't ever get a plus again. I had a 6 plus for 17 months to try it out and while it was a great phone I felt it was just too much of a behemoth to carry around. That's why I traded in for a 6s in March 2016 and the smaller size and it was an instant success. I also thought about Jet black for the 7, but I decided the black looked incredible and would be sufficient for me.

Still, here's hoping you guys who ordered any form of plus/JB get your phones ASAP.

I ordered a iPhone 7 128gb from Sprint, received tracking number yesterday stating it would arrive by end of day Friday (16th) unfortunately I work Mon-Fri. So I called UPS to see if they can hold the package at a UPS Hub for pickup and was told they can't due to restrictions the sender has put on the package. Then he says that even though it says my arrival date is Friday online that it won't be delivered until Monday...because the sender didn't get the package to them in time. So I have no idea when I will actually get my phone (Friday or Monday) and if I will even be able to get it due to me working. Any tips or anyone in the same situation?

We always leave a note for UPS/Fedex when we know we have to sign for a package with the tracking number, leaving permission to leave the package and then sign it. They always leave it for us. Don't know if you want to do that or not but that is what we always do.
 
Has anyone seen any actual movement on their UPS tracking numbers? It seems a lot are stuck in "order processed ready for UPS" status.

Anyone had any luck with changing shipping address with Sprint? I tried to change it so that UPS would hold it at a local UPS Customer Center for will call pick up, but Sprint has put a restriction on the shipments.

Thanks for the tip!! Yea I think that may be my only choice. Unfortunately we live in a 5 unit gated complex with no gate code just key access. So I will just have to hope someone in the complex will be home to open the gate

Mine just updated too! I want to believe it but with it being 2nd day air, Im very skeptical. It still shows a date of 09/16 and on time. Due to past experience though I know that can and does change all the time. Fingers crossed all of us have no del exceptions and we all get shipments tomorrow!

Yep! The above has been my exact experience with UPS :( I expect to see a del exception notice tomorrow pushing my del date to Monday.

UPS app and site will allow me to change del to a neighbors house. Maybe you can do that?
 
Seems like if you ordered a 7 not in jet black by two days ago you should get it tomorrow. Just checked my tracking number and it is in transit (from Louisville) to he delivered tomorrow. Hopefully everyone else who got the 7 is the same.

Well, my 128 JB + won't be here until the 7th of October. Worse things have happened. It's not like my 6s Plus is obsolete. Haha
 
Mine just updated to be delivered to the store tomorrow so I may not be picking mine up until Saturday. What's funny is it's next day air and was shipped yesterday so it may be delivered today and I can pick it up tomorrow. Either way, I know I'll have my phone within the next 48 hours!

I have not received any shipping info yet... My order was placed on 9/9 at 11:15am CST - black iPhone 7 128gb.

Do you guys think I'll have my phone by tomorrow?

Yeah, I ordered a + 128 GB matte black at 323am central time and haven't gotten anything yet. Starting to think they're going by color or even though I ordered an hour and twenty after preorders opened, matte black 128GB is on back order.
Yes, it seems like it based on configuration vs first come, first serve. I ordered the same phone as you did and still Nothing!
