Interesting that my battery case just died before my iPhone battery started to discharge (which is what I originally assumed would happen). A contrast to a couple days ago when my iPhone started to uniformly discharge at roughly the same rate as the case, once the case was at 40-45%. So far I can't find any patterns in power consumption.

That was my experience as well.

BTW, I just found this online:

https://powerpluscases.com/collections/shop-iphone-7/products/iphone-7-battery-extender-case-5200mah

One of the things that attracted me to the Apple battery case was that it used the same lightning connector, while all the third party battery cases seem to use micro-USB. This one uses a lightning connector as well, and looks really interesting, but I can't seem to find any reviews online.

Bought the case today - seems to be quite nice, even though its really on the bulky side.

I wonder how it handles water, given the phone's IP rating...

I'm really interested in this case as well, but since there's no reviews yet, I just couldn't get myself to buy lol.

Can someone please tell me how is the weight of the Smart battery case for iPhone 7, compared to the one for iPhone 6/6S?

Has anyone tried to use this case and use the lightening headphones at the same time to listen to music? Do you think it'll work?
