It actually got worse the past couple of days. It was 12 hours of standby but only 30 minutes of usage and was at 40% today. So took it and they are trying to convince me that it is "normal" after running the diagnostics. I wiped it again and asked them to set it up new, charge it to 100%, put it in airplane mode and check on it after 6 hours and he agreed that it shouldn't lose more than a percent or two. So hoping it shows more drain that that in pretty much the lowest use you could have without it being off.
What.. they told you 12 hours standby and 30 mins usage is normal to use 60% Battery on an iPhone 7? I think they need to adjust the battery life estimates on their website then

I went in back in today and the guy who was doing the test wasn't there yet, but when I asked to pick up my phone they brought me out a replacement (which had my SIM Card already in it). So I'm guessing he saw the same drainage setting it up new and being in Airplane mode, or he just gave in to my complaints and authorized a replacement.

Good result .. report back how the battery is on the replacement phone

4.7 iPhone 7. On Airplane Mode over two nights for approx 8 hrs per night. Low Power Mode on at 20% remaining. Background App Refresh off and Brightness at approx 50%.

It is just one day with the replacement, but the improvement is dramatic. Restored it yesterday (and waited for all the apps to reload) then charged it to 100%. Took it off the charger at about 9pm, when I woke up the this morning it was still at 100% - although after a minute or two it went to 99%. Typically I had been losing about 25-35% during that time. I've used it like I normally would and here 10 hours later it is still at 60%. Again typically on the other phone it would have been dead hours ago.

Result !

Anyones iPhone 7 dying at weird percentages other than 0? Mine is dying at 15%.

This didnt happen before I upgraded to ios 10.1 – Tried resetting my phone back to factory and restoring from iTunes but it didnt work either.

Let the phone run down and then charge it overnight (don't remove it when it hits 100%). That should calibrate the battery.

Drain started up at the new iCloud account. Typically 1 percent per hour, sometimes an it more. Charged it to 80 before work at 6, its 8 now and already down to 59. Haven't done much.

At home I left the phone be and got the following result. As you can see the phone clearly reports a lot more usage then I've actually used.

I ordered a new sim so hopefully that'll fix something. On airplane mode it drains 3 percent over 8 hours with 7 minutes is usage instead of 7-9 percent with 40 minutes of usage. It's getting really annoying now and I just can't make it through the day like this. Sure it makes 2 days on standby, but whenever I actually use it it's dead at 3pm.

This is my IPhone 7 battery life. As you can see, haven´t used it much. More regular things. Most surf over wifi. I think it´s bad. Suprisingly bad. I have tried to turn backgrounds refresh off and things like that. So, now i´m stuck in the middle between; is it something wrong with my phone or is this "normal"? When i see other post here i think it´s my phone and that this is not normal at all. Any suggestions what i can do?

29 hours standby and it's still at 44% ? I would have thought that's pretty good. Maybe try using it more and see what sort of Usage stats you get, that way uou can probably judge better ?

If the usage stats are real and not lying; that's quite good! Mine would show 10 hours of usage at that point but in reality I would've used it for around 3, just like you and my phone would be empty; so you win :)

This past weekend I wanted to test standby time if I had to leave phone off the charger, iPhone 7+, it used 1%in 16hrs standby wifi off and just LTE better than anything I've had on Android this battery is great.

Received my replacement week 44. Bright display. A tad darker on the right but as I mentioned so are all the phones.

Day 1.

I'm at 86% now with usage showing 2hrs and standby 5.5hrs

Everything on. Same apps.

Last phone would be at 50% now

Is that from 100-99%? If so you can't go by that. Look at my iP7 below.

Finally had some time to run activity monitor via xcode. Can't see anything weird though, which is frustrating.

When I disconnect my watch the cellular and wifi connections drop down to a minimum, when I connect it it flares up for a while but after 10 minutes goes down as well.

Weird stuff. Disabled Siri and fetch mail tonight and left it off the charger; lost 0 percent from a 100 and had 13 minutes of usage on the device over 9 hours. That's acceptable; I got 3 whatsapp messages.

During the day it does its standard 4 percent per hour drain; maddening. Got a new sim card as well; no difference :(

I went into the apple store today and had the guy diagnostics on the battery, left for 5 mins and came back with a new phone, i truly think the first batches had some issues

You didn't read my post above yours then.

Gonna try my luck tomorrow or next week. Also bought the iPhone 7 on launch day and I can't handle the battery drain issues anymore.
