iPhone 7 Case Molds Lack Rumored ‘Dark Space Gray’ Option in New Photo

Yeah, because the antenna bands are just stickers on the outside of the phone. Also, it appears the new larger camera would fit perfect in the 6S case too! /sarcasm
If you lift the brightness of the photo (using Photoshop etc) you can see there's no headphone jack.
Quite the opposite is true I think - if this design was revealed as the iPhone 7 and no-one had seen it we'd all (aside from the serious fanboys) be completely underwhelmed.
What Apple has managed well with these leaks in recent years is to control the 5 stages of grief with early leaks of all the ugly/boring "features" such as camera bumps, antenna bands, same old colour options etc. -
1. Denial: "That can't be the iPhone 7, you'll see when it comes out, obviously a render! Fools!"
2. Anger: "If that's the iPhone 7 I'm outta here, FFS what's Jony Ive doing?? All those billion$!"
3. Bargaining: "It'll be ok as long as they put a bigger battery in it, if they make it thicker and remove the bump..."
4. Depression: "It looks like this is it, may as well keep my iPhone 5 for another year, Apple are nothing without Jobs"
5. Acceptance: "Ah well, it's not that bad, the camera will be better and the new processor will be faster, it's ok!"
Yeah. If that's accurate, I'm glad I'm not planning on upgrading this year! Hope that particular design element doesn't carry over to the iPhone 8.
So the new iPhone might have a new color or might not. The Plus size might have a new connector or it might not. And it might or might not have a headphone jack.

You might be on to something here.To be honest, it doesn't really look like the 3.5 mm jack is present. Usually it is visible from this angle.

I grabbed the original from their site (pretty easy since they use WordPress). Unfortunately it doesn't add a whole lot of resolution as the original image was really compressed. However, I've adjusted the contrast using levels in PS and cropped in on the area and I don't see any evidence of a headphone jack but I can see the lightning port. The headphone jack is thicker than the lightning port and should be visible, so no, it doesn't have one.

I can't even worry about the design, because I slap a case on it. If the phone functions well and does what it is supposed to do for me it's all good.
This product is soooo matured, there isn't anything WOW to come along.
Faster processor, more memory, better camera and ten what?
For me, posted a few times if they could make it project onto screens and walls etc. that be a winner
to make me get a new iPhone.
Until then 4 years of 8S Plus.
I'm not super worried about the look of the back of the phone since I keep mine in an Apple leather cover anyhow. I thought they were working on a way to make the antenna lines the same color as the body but still have pass through for the signal. Anyhow, if you keep your phone out of a case a skin will give you any color you like.
My main focus is the performance and the software. If its better than before and the software works well we have a winner. Looking forward to display changes as well. At some point the current display will be upgraded to something better. I'm not currently disappointed but I do recognize some competitors have included some really nice displays in their phones. Not naming names.

Seriously people. Get over the camera bump and the lack of headphone jack. It's happening whether you like it or not.
If you get better pictures, who cares if it sticks a little bit, if you do, jump ship, no-one cares.
And Apple will most likely ship Lightning connected EarPods so use them or buy some better ones. The 3.5mm jack is old now. Move on.

Maybe my eyes are bad, and maybe my monitor's color is off, but those look like 4 different colors to me. I know one is not the alleged darker space gray, but it looks like there is a gray model there.
I know it's not a huge thing, but still. Disappointment after disappointment after disappointment.
It'll have better performance for sure. And a bigger battery. It might also include a new feature called "Wide Colour" display, something like that. It'll have a True-Tone display from the iPad Air. Like the iPad Air, it'll probably end up having the best LCD screen you can buy.
