Can you post the image with dust? I have a Nikon lens with dust in it and I cannot see any issues with the pictures.
I did take the photos the other apple care agent told me to go to a different apple store

I have a speck of dust similar to that under my camera lens (mine is actually a bit larger). It's VERY common, and unless it affects the quality of your photos, you're wasting everybody's time. There is no such thing as a perfect phone. If they swap out your phone, you'll likely get another one with dust under the camera lens, or you'll get one with a dead pixel or dust under the display glass. Believe me, I've gone down this road. If that tiny piece of dust is all that's wrong with your phone, and you can't see it in photos, then just stop.

Sorry, I meant post a picture that is impacted by the dust. Show us a bad picture. Not on of the camera.

They told you to go to a different store? That sounds like a sign.

It's not normal to tap the back of your phone and look for problems.
Inspecting ones obscenely expensive iPhone is perfectly normal.

Even if it upsets worshippers of the brand.

I agree. Like I said, I have a $500 dollar lens with dust and it works great.
Just because you accept poor quality doesn't mean others should.

I didn't accept poor quality. It happened over time from swapping the lens. A question as to why the dust was there would be better than an assumption. But thanks for playing.

I got dust somehow on the inside of my iPhone 5 camera lens a few years ago which did affect the pictures. I went to the Apple Store, took a couple pictures for the employee to see, and they swapped it on the spot. The phone was already a few months old at that point.
The only reason I noticed was that my photos had a few "blotches" on them.
