You are right. I was mixing in other button functions. Thanks.

Yes however those are additional functions. Namely "Back" and "App Manager". My Note 5 has a Home Button as does my son's Note 4. Other Galaxy phones have them. Wish my iPhone 6S+ had the "Back Button". Sweet feature.

Still, we digress. Hope you are enjoying your device.
Do you need a back button on the iPhone? Most apps have the swipe feature to go back or you can use the <previous app link in the top bar. Unlike on Android the back swipe gesture in iOS is very consistent.

I use both Android and iOS and I've got to say, I prefer the back swipe. Not saying I don't like the back button, it can be very handy, but it can be inconsistent. For example, it can take me back to another app when I just want it to take me back a page. Or when I want to go back to the app I was on before, I would have to go to the main screen of the app before going to the app I want to go on. I prefer Apple's system, where you can just swipe to go back a page, and to-right corner when you want to go back with apps.

The S cycle is always a much greater improvement. Most people think otherwise because it looks the same.
It's an economics thing. I was on the S cycle with my original purchase of my 3GS, but with my wife getting one, it was better to have her on that one, and me on this one.
