Wow, you guys are far more perceptive than I am. I had a 6s and now a 7 and can't tell a damn bit of difference between them in look and feel.

Count me in as someone who's experiencing the clicking/popping sound from the display. And weirdly enough it doesn't always happen, almost like after a good bit of use it becomes extremely prominent and can be duplicated with any slight 3D Touch on the display and other times it won't do it at all. Hopefully this gets fixed with later production models although the screen on my unit is great (besides the feel of it) so I am reluctant to swap.

every year i buy both flagships this year i will NOT be buying the iphone7. if i was to buy an iphone today i would get the 6s.

I wonder if you're feeling the home button change - the taptic feedback makes it feel sort of like you're pressing the whole screen in much like its a touchpad or something. Instead of just the feeling of pressing a button.

Really? How do you suppose you would make a phone have better sound quality and not vibrate a little when using the speakers? The new speakers are much louder, and with that they vibrate the phone. If it bothers you turn the phone down?

Nope, it's not this. The entire display creaks and makes a clicking popping sound. It's much different from the home button....

even at low volume it vibrates. there are tons of phones or there with dual speakers and they don't vibrate. it's a minor issue. overall i love the phone

Many old threads here about iPhone 6 Plus screen popping and lifting. I had one, hopefully this is just a first batch manufacturing glitch like then. My iPhone 7 feels as good as my 6 and 6S. When my 7 plus arrives I expect the it to be the same.

First off I have to say I really like my iPhone 7, I plan to keep it. But one thing bugs me a bit- it feels a little cheaply built compared to my 6s. The 6s was a bit heavier, felt very solid, made no creaks or pops at all when pressing on any parts of it. It felt like a heavy duty item.

My 7 just feels slightly cheap- it is noticeably lighter, and I can hear slight pop sounds if I am holding the top and bottom and squeeze. Anybody else feel this way?

And on that note, how did they manage to make the 7 lighter- cheaper build, thinner aluminum?

Minor in the grand scheme of things, it is a great phone and I'm happy with it- I just felt slightly disappointed when it feels cheaper for the same very high price.
well the 7 was rushed and the 6s wasn't....

I totally agree with your comment, I don't like the new haptic engine or the vibrations from the phone with the volume turned up and a video playing. To me it certainly feels cheap, particularly when compared to my iPhone 6S.
