I have a problem tether my phone to my iPad with Bluetooth with my 7.

I use Bluetooth because it's less power and doesn't disconnect on standby. I can't get it to work at all.

Anyone getting disconnect/reconnect issues with their 7/iOS 10?

For the second time today, without touching my phone, I've hear my Bluetooth say "disconnected" followed immediately by "connected ."

I've had ZERO problems with this Bluetooth on my 6.

What's going on?
I am also having major Bluetooth streaming issues with my BMW with iPhone 7+ 10.02. I understand there are new drivers for each iPhone but Apple should learn from the past and test the software or at least understand that there are problems and be more open about the fixes instead of silence and just frustrating customers.

I have had the same problem. I have to say, though, that I had the same problem with my 6+. I have been using a Plantronics Edge. I even bought a new one while using my 6+. The new one has the same problem. I sometimes have to take it out of my ear because it gets annoying connecting and disconnecting.

Well now, I am finding that I am having more of a problem today and yesterday. My plantronics did not pick up my calls at all yesterday. I had a heck of a time getting it to connect during a call. When it did connect the person that I was taking to said that I kept going in and out. Today I had to repair my exercise monitor for the second time this week. Are we calling Apple on this?

i have the same issue.
bluetooth audio disconnects with my car and my headphones.
I also use Tile and that app keeps resetting the bluetooth every few seconds.

only happens with iphone 7 and ios 10. I have an ipad mini 4 and a 5s with the same ios and they don;'t have the issue. I've seen the issue on two iphone 7s so far.

I have the iPhone 6Plus and since updating to iOS 10.02, my Bluetooth disconnects/connects multiple times a day, if not hourly.

I used ios 10 with my 6 for a good week before I got my 7+, and my car bluetooth connection seemed fine with the 6. The 7 is extremely unstable. It randomly drops, then will work fine for a while, then it runs into trouble again. I am really hoping it's a software fix. It will also act squirrely with my Jabra headset, but I don't have near through trouble I have with my Honda (2015 - no carplay). My 6 would give me trouble, and seemed confused a lot when making phone calls, but it didn't act like it was a hardware issue at all. The trouble with the 7 feels more like a hardware issue :( I also have some issue with stuttered playback when mirroring to my Apple TV.

The glitching has been better then this little update and one of my location reminders is accurate again.

Having an issue with BT, iOS 10 and my first gen FR-S. When answering a call, it'll connect to BT for a split second, switch back to the radio for a couple seconds and then back to BT for the remainder of the call. Anyone else experience this on any other car? It's happened on my 6s as well as my 7, both running iOS 10.

Had iP6 on 8.4 and no disconnect issues. ip7 with ios 10.1.3 randomly doesn't connect to car Bluetooth. It shows connected in the Bluetooth settings but no music or phone connectivity. if I tap the "connected" button on the phone, it then streams. Ironically connects much more consistently with my garmin exercise devices, but worse on the car.

Same problem here with ios 10.1.1 and Beasts bt headphones (wireless solo 3 and wireless)... Had no problem with my 6+ before...

Yes, that much is clear.

As I said, it is very common for some bluetooth hardware to have issues with newly released versions of iOS, and new firmware editions.

Not all bluetooth hardware. You're free to maintain your position that "Apple broke it" but that's not the way things are in the real world. In some cases Apple makes necessary changes to bluetooth driver support. In other cases, certain bluetooth hardware requires its own firmware update for improved compatibility.

Believe it or not, the rather cheaply made (but not cheaply sold) Plantronics hardware probably lacks proper support. However in some cases, iOS maintenance updates will improve support for some hardware.
Amazing how it's always Apple's fault. Especially with the other devices failing to keep up their side of support for their products.

never heard of a hardware update for my ear buds so I guess I am dependent on apple to fix it.
I turned of LTE for voice and almost all the glitch is gone on my two sets of jaybirds. though when I go through a metal door there is still a bit of it.

Apple will be replacing all metal doors with fiberglass in 2017.

This happened to me on my 6s Plus (Solo 3s would randomly disconnect) and now on my new 7+. Must be a software issue.
