To be honest, I doubt they will ever fix the lag. Mostly because most people either don't see it or don't care, so why "waste" money to fix it? If every tech reporter had commented on it on release then maybe, but all I ever heard was "wow the fastest phone on the planet!!".

Yes unbelievable that nobody sees this lag !!
Try Settings / Mobile Network and see the lag while scrolling down..

I have this on my small iphone7 before... with my iphone7 plus now i dont have this... everything is smooth....

I don't know about the article but tests have proved the internal memory is slower for the iPhone 7s with smaller storage size.
Yes, the storage write speeds are slower on smaller models based on how SSD works. That seems to be somewhat different compared to claims of something getting slower and that being intentional.

Oh right, sorry about that ^^
Dude I saw your videos, I have the same problems. I tried everything: factory reset, restore via iTunes. I tried setting it as new device, every time. The lag is super annoying. My old 6s is smooth as butter.
Apple really needs to fix this or else I feel the need to downgrade(more like a sidestep in these current conditions) to the 6s. If I try recording the lag with an app on my phone, the stutter is 80% gone because the 2 big cores step in and the lag is diminished.

Hi,
Does anybody have problems with scrolling lag when put cellular data on in that settings?

Thanks in advance.

Yup there is stutter in mobile data / cellular data settings when scrolling. iOS 10 bug.
Tnx for confirm. It's my first Apple phone after using Andorid phones for many years and I very suprised that Apple did this.I really hope that they will fix this issue with next update.

Well, you know... I check mobile data usage weekly so I'm not so bother. But is it irritating? Yes.

That particular screen has been like that for quite a while now, perhaps due to loading of the data on it and/or something else. It might change at some point, but I wouldn't really expect that.

Hi folks,

I don't know if you tried the 10.3 update (I didn't) but the latest 10.3 betas were way smoother than anything before; so I guess 10.3 release should be worth a try.

A few apps does still have some lag (pockets for example), but I guess it's the app maker problem now as Apple message, app store (and others) as well as youtube aren't disturbingly laggy and I may say smooth enough !

Wish you all a smooth and buttery scrolling :)

I was using 10.3 since beta 1. Indeed the lag was drastically reduced. It was about time..

They didn't fix this. There is still stuttering.

I did notice there is some slight stutter when scrolling. Nothing too noticeable, but after you pointed it out, I did see it.

Singh, does your iPhone do this after the 10.3 update? Just curious.
