iPhone 7 Plus Case Recommendation: Thin + Some Protection?

just ordered the "ringke fusion" in black smoke for my gold ip7... never used one before but the reviews on them are pretty good especially for $9.99 plus free shipping on ebay..
Why is it only the black version that has grip?
Is the black version made from different material?
Yes it is. My guess is that the other colours would show discolouration due to the grippy material. It's same with the Spigen thin model - only black has grip. Ringke is slimmer than Spigen, though.
I have both the Ringke and Spigen for my Galaxy Note 7. The Spigen has a taller lip. Ringke on the left, Spigen on the right:

Other cases say coming soon while their Facebook says they should be available tomorrow. I'm waiting for the "sheath" version in black. It looks pretty thin but appears to provide decent drop protection, considering.

I have a Ringke Slim on at the moment. I like the feel and fit of the case, just the cuts on the corners bother me really bad. They allow the case or flex while removing or installing on the phone.

It's transparent and matte. You can't make out the small writing but can definitely see the apple logo and iPhone through the case.

I received my FlexiSlim and Flexicase in the mail from Orzly and these would now be my picks.
I actually prefer the FlexiSlim but it offers basically no protection but it looks amazing on a Plus, as it adds virtually no bulk.
The FlexiCase is pretty nice though:

Pretty much. You can find very similar cases to the ones you listed for a couple dollars on eBay if you search "iPhone 7 0.3mm case"

You'll be happy with the fusion. I had one on my 6+. Great case. Great quality for the price
