Caudabe has their new veil up for the iPhone 7.
Other cases say coming soon while their Facebook says they should be available tomorrow. I'm waiting for the "sheath" version in black. It looks pretty thin but appears to provide decent drop protection, considering.

That's funny. I'm waiting for Caudabe's Sheath too and also emailed them. Hopefully it'll be here soon. Have the Sheath on my 6s and it's absolutely perfect for my needs. Really slim but protective and the lip around the screen is perfect.

Yep, love my Caudabe Sheath for my 6s. I wish they made one for my S7 Edge since I don't use iPhones anymore (for now, ahem). Great case.

I'm back with a few pictures,

I received my FlexiSlim and Flexicase in the mail from Orzly and these would now be my picks.

I actually prefer the FlexiSlim but it offers basically no protection but it looks amazing on a Plus, as it adds virtually no bulk.

The FlexiCase is pretty nice though:

EDIT: Making images work.
It says they won't arrive till the 14th?

Is the sheath good

The veil while basically for grip and adds nothing to your phone offers absolutely zero screen protection.

My ringke fusion showed up. Loving the look of the smoke black with my gold 7. Uploaded files not sure if thy will show up or not..

How well does the Fusion protect the camera? My wife has the Spigen Ultra Hybrid and it basically offers zero camera protection. She loves the case otherwise, and the Fusion looks similar so I was going to get her one. Is the lens recessed and protected by the Fusion?

Good. It is recessed. Having a heck of a time posting pics. Tried "upload a file" and posting with Photobucket

Does the flexislim have any grip

I purchased six cases for the 7+ ... ClearVue, Spigen Liquid Armor, Spigen Neo Hybrid, MaxBoost Slim Case, XDesign Slim Case, and Caseology Vault. I'm doing a full video review on all cases. I notice that most cases that are advertised as thin do not tell you that the width of the case can add up to 1/4 of an inch. Making an already wide phone difficult to use with one hand.

If you do not want to wait till Friday I can tell you that the Caseology Vault came in 2nd with the carbon fiber gripped edges but over all the Spigen Liquid Armor won as my case of choice. It met everything i was looking for

- grip on the back
- ease of access to the mute switch
- roughly 1/8th of an inch added width to the phone
- full coverage of camera
- lip to protect screen
- decent price ( don't need a $30-40 case when you can get the same case for $10-15 )

All cases were bought with my own money about $60 or less for all case, all good quality cases. I will be sending all cases back to Amazon for credit with the exception of the Winner Spigen Liquid Armor and the Caseology Vault. I really do love the carbon fiber side grips of that case. Wish they added it to the back part of the case as well.

Full review measurement pros/cons on Friday. My case of choice may not be for you but you'll get to see how the other cases look and function

how/where can you see your review when you do it?

@acctman you're right about some slim cases adding width. Best comparison is the Neo Hybrid vs the Liquid Armor. Same thickness mostly but taller and wider because of the bumper.
I have the Neo Hybrid for my 6s Plus and love it but decided I need something slimmer and shorter this year.
My Liquid Armor arrived last week but my phone doesn't get here till October!

Do you feel like you need a case for the iPhone 7 Plus? The original question mentioned grippiness. I decided to order the plus after having the six and the 6S in the smaller size. I have not used a case for years, but wonder if I want one for this phone to make it easier to hold onto.

I like all the cases you guys have suggested, but what's the thinnest one with lip?
My 5S dropped from bed quite a few times, and the lip really saved the screen always. So the thinnest one with lip?
Thanks!
