Ask Apple to swap it like they did for dust under my displayThen what will you do??
I will exchange mine again^^^ I have OCD, that would bother the hell out of me....I would return it
I thought I'd share my experience of this issue.
I was cleaning my 7 plus and noticed dust in the camera, 2 bits right in the middle. Went to the store today, they said they could replace the camera no problems and clean it out. Would take a couple of hours.
Went back to collect it and they said the dust was actually inside the glass lens itself, they tried to clean it out but it didn't work and it would need to be replaced. They have ordered me a replacement that should be here in a couple of days. Just got to wait for a call now to go and do the swap.
I know it's more cosmetic than anything but I don't believe dust should be there at all to be honest, not when this phone costs so much money!
Some of you guys are really anal. The dust inside will not show up. https://www.lensrentals.com/blog/2011/08/the-apocalypse-of-lens-dust/

Thanks for sharing your experience. I agree with you that the dust shouldn't be there. It drives me insane. But I'm starting to accept the fact that it's just the way the phone is manufactured and it's inevitable.
Will you let us know if you have dust in the lens of the replacement?
I was about to ask same thing. How is it a side effect of the camera hump if the 7 is dust resistant?
[doublepost=1478446933][/doublepost]This happened last year with my pre-order of the 6s Plus..I was so excited to get my device..only to see dust particles trapped under the camera lens cover.
I don't think it really has a lot of impact on picture quality, but once you see it...it's hard to unsee it. And it's bothersome to me...it's like wearing glasses with finger prints on them or smudge mark on them...you can still see fine, but it's just annoying.
if you guys look closely, can you see dust trapped under your lens cover? If so, do you care...are you swapping the device? Living with it?...I'd just like other people's thoughts.
Thanks in advance and I hope you all are enjoying your phones!!

i had this issue on my iphone 6 and 6s my iphone 6 has a dust under the isight lens cover and apple replaced it with a new one but issue still persist so they changed again my iphone 6 for the second time but still has a dust under the camera the only thing is the amount of white specs is not like the others but i dont like my phone to have this dust so i insist again to have my nes replacement believe me or not i got 5 iphone 6 in a month because of that dust!!!what the fudge!until i get tired of goin back in fort to the apple service center to replace my phone good thing i upgrade my phone to 6s from 6 but.....only to find out my 6s is having a same issue with my iphone 6 so i go back again and change it until i got an iphone 6s with a little amount of dust specs on the camera lens so i settled with it!i embraced the fact that thats the way it is!apple it not perfect!!! just sad because it cost so much but in some ways thre still a problem
I had a big piece of dust or debris that was stuck under my lens and I followed the advice above and slapped my phone against the soft part of my leg and sure enough it fixed the problem.Give it a good tap against a soft surface to dislodge it otherwise exchange it and take your chances with a different defect like dust under the bonded screen that can't be dislodged.

Quick update, I got my replacement phone last night and there isn't any visible dust in the lens at all.
It also doesn't make that creaking noise like in the corner like my last one either.
Great service too!
