I definitely ordered a tempered glass screen protector for my 7+. I have had the 6 for 2 years and only have 1 tiny scratch on the screen, but I baby it. I don't want to risk it with my 7+, and will have it cased up, and screen protected from day 1!

Hello everyone I need a recommendation on a temperglass screen protector for the iPhone 7 I only have 16 dollars to spend which you recommend has to be a perfect one with no bubble after installation?

How do I take the old screen protector off?

If the screen protect touches the home button on the 7 will the home button be fine ?

You should be able to find a bunch on Amazon for under $10 with free shipping. The tempered glass should not touch the home button so it's fine.

What if it does touch during installation will it be fine still ?

There many on Amazon some have bad reviews on it that's why I ask for a recommendation

If it does touch you'll be fine. Just make sure you're installing it in a clean/dust free area. I bought the Anker brand tempered glass ones and like em. 18 month warranty as well

my iphone 6 had micro scratches on it from daily use. you can see them only against light. Even its the oleophobic coating, the scratches still show and do not come out. I doubt its the coating

Never had a screen protector on any of my iPhones and never had a scratch.

These protectors do not feel the same to me and they do little if anything to protect the screen in a drop.

That is so not true. Have had glass protectors break where the iphone glass did not.

Look at the Note 7 scratch test results, despite what Corning says, GG5 seems to scratch way easier then previous versions. Just the nature of the technology, to improve breakage, they glass becomes softer and more prone to scratches. I would rather them go the other way, since I hate scratches and rarely drop a phone.

I just watched the video now and all I can say is wow... That's pretty poor

I also have the Belkin glass version screen protector. Apple installs it for you with a small machine in the store. Why skimp on this?

I absolutely got a small 2-3cm scratch in my iPhone 6 screen w/in the first month- no idea how I got it. Got a Tech armor protector tempered glass protector and loved it but OCD got me and I played w/ the edges until it came up. Had Apple install the Belkin one at the store and HATED IT! It doesn't have rounded edges like Tech Armor did and was much softer - It's covered in scratches. For my 7, i bought the Anker tempered glass one and it's great, round edges like the Tech armor and only $7 (there was a coupon). I did put a crack in the bottom of it while painting the kitchen this weekend. o_O

Anyway, don't get a $35 belkin screen protector.
