All good points that need to be made, repeatedly, about these stupid 6-series phones (one too big, the other way too big). Apple is full of idiots and its followers are sheep. The company could release a 2-pound brick and the people would buy it. There hasn't been a pocketable phone since the BlackBerry Curve.

Lol. Are you 2 feet tall? Yes, the plus model may give some users issues in pockets, they won't fit correctly in my work clothes, but the 7 fits fine. Everyone I know that has the 7 does not complain about it fitting into a pocket.

You just hate apple products. All of your posts are negative. No, I am not an apple fanboy. I only have a phone and an iPad. All my home pcs are windows based.

But I am sure if Apple sold a brick you would be in here complaining about it.

Man, is there enough new threads whining about issues that could have been avoided by performing the smallest amount of research or what?? The dpi is different between base models vs plus models. The phone with a 4.7" screen is physically larger than the one with a 3.5" screen?!? Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaatt?? Unreal.

I will try to 'retrain' my iP7 to recognize my thumb prints.
You don't need to use your thumbs, you can use any finger you like. Or nipple, or even the paw of a hedgehog. Assuming you have one of those handy, that is... :p

I am so frustrated right now. Why, because I just fired up my iPhone 3GS from the dead and I miss it very much.

I finally upgraded to a new iPhone 7 on launch day after the ancient iPhone 3GS failed after many many years. The touch screen stopped responding in the lower half after it was dropped. I got by with an old Samsung slider phone for a while, but that just totally sucked.

Now that I have been using a new iPhone 7 for a few months (since launch), here are my thoughts.

1. Even the 'regular' iPhone 7 is RIDICULOUSLY large. It requires two hands to use. I can't imagine being one of you poor souls that got the Plus model.

2. Touch ID never worked for me. What a stupid gimmick. I finally disabled it because it never worked and now I have to put in my code with two hands because it is so large.

3. This thing is so big that it wears out my jean pockets at work and especially because of the required Otter box case to protect my investment.

4. What exactly is my return on investment for buying this thing in the first place?
[doublepost=1482650817][/doublepost]Other considerations....

If you are outside and shoveling snow, there is no way the iP7 will register your print or accessing the so called 'home' button.

The whole Touch ID thing really burned me with this phone. I've been using Apple products since '91 but now that updating the Macintosh has become an afterthought.....well....

I recently bought a Sony TV. It runs on Android and well, it just works.
Touch ID not work? It is either your phone is defective or you never had idea how to even set it up. What phone now don't have touch ID. All have because it simplified your mobile usage.

iPhone 7 too big? It is very small just you never know the greatness of big screen phone. iPhone 7 is just a minimum screen size now.

Cannot fit iPhone 7 in your pocket? Are you wearing a cellophane tape.

The most hilarious thread I ever seen. Wake up! You leaving in antique iPhone 3Gs too long already and dunno how great mobile phone now.

I think OP is trolling. Given that you consider the iPhone 7 as an investment you should've invested some time to actually examine it before "investing" your money. Otherwise you deserve what you got.

Well said.
A cellphone is not investment property.
Its just a device you use to communicate and do what you need to do on a daily basis.

I think the biggest problem with the OP is that he uses an outdated OtterBox case. Those things are hideous, huge, they hold the usefulness of the touch ID back, and there is many other slimmer and more compact cases that provide just as good, if not better protection.
