I don't think there is going to be a new iPhone6SE next months. There will be a new iPhone 7. The iPhone SE is the 4" version of an iPhone which was released about 6 months ago. I don't see them releasing another SE that soon.

I think they were referring to the rumour that the next iPhone would be branded 'iPhone 6SE' because it will be an iPhone '6S S' so to speak, not a new design 'iPhone 7'.

Sorry dude that's because it's pictured is a fake C63 AMG, the real one has "real" dual exit exhausts with a real purpose for sound and performance.
I know.
I was just posting something more blatantly shameless.

Except for the Apple logo (?), that supposed iPhone 7 case image looks strikingly similar to the Xiaomi Redmi Pro, even down to six holes on each side:

Hmmm... I wonder if someone photo shopped in the apple cut out?
Granted the source pic is not hi res, but it's grainy enough to cast doubt.
After all, Xiaomi loves to copy Apple's design language.

I've yet to find a logical reason for removing the headphone jack other than to sell adapters and bluetooth headphones..
Until the iPhone 4S the jack was at the top of the phone, and there were two symmetrical grilles at the bottom (one for speaker, one for mic). Return the jack to the top... problem solved.

Which is not logical. Does anyone really believe that with iPhones in a downward sales slump, that MFi Licenses, adapters, and headphones will make up for the number of customers who are not going to upgrade, or worse yet jump to another platform when the headphone jack is removed? Ridiculous. Just how many headphones and adapters will it take to make up the margins of just one lost iPhone Plus sale?

Well the question has been answered.... purely cosmetic.
Looks like they used the space for the headphone jack to hold the Taptic engine.
