It's all about balance right... buy if u want and sell if u want. Don't paint me as bad because I can buy and sell as I wish lol.

Someone is obviously rich and showing off here... :p
Not really bruh. I was just simply trying to start a conversation. It's just all these xyz side comments that gets me to answer haha

I'm seriously considering buying an SE for $150 bucks at best buy and using that while I sell my S8 Plus and get ready to order my X.

You have the money to buy two phones in the $1k ballpark and you’re still going to try to flip an X?

I loathe flippers. They ruin it for those of us who simply like Apple products and want to get the new thing. I’m glad I’m skipping the X this year, I’m sure the limited availability will bring out the pond scum who make a cottage industry out of reselling.
Nothing wrong with flipping. Back in college I made enough to pay all of my bills for a year over the course of 3 months from flipping iPhone 4's when people were waiting months to receive theirs.

Yes, making a free market profit to apply towards for future purchase is a BAD, EVIL thing to do.. Hope you are in a socialist country cause that's where you belong.
Lmao bruh I laughed

Made me laugh as well, but that’s because I happen to live in one of those “oh so evil and bad” socialist countries :p

But, do whatever you want as long as you can afford it and you feel it’s worth it. If you can somehow profit from it as well, more power to you. Technically, I could afford to pull off something like that, but I don’t use my phone enough to justify that. I’d rather throw my money at other cool “toys” that I know I’ll get more enjoyment out of.

For me, there's too much risk in flipping. Swappa/eBay etc you can be scammed easily. Craigslist/letgo/fb/offerup you can get mugged etc... Sure I'd most likely be ok, but I have enough headaches in my life to risk another.

eBay is the safest the only downside is that you have to pay 13% fees for eBay and PayPal.

I think I am going to go buy a brand new BMW for the next 6 weeks because I cannot wait for the brand new Audi to be released....

It's not ripping people off. If they're willing to pay then so be it. This is a free country I wasn't forcing them to spend money.

Yep, it’s a free country, and people are choosing to pay above MSRP—but that doesn’t mean you’re not ripping them off by reselling at a huge markup.

I never said it cannot be done, but I am saying it’s a crappy thing to do. And if saying that keeping a product out of the hands of people who want it for the express purpose of selling it to them at a much higher price is crappy makes me a socialist, then I request an admin change my username to VI Lenin.

For me, it's all about the iPhone X experience coming. The iPhone 8 will do well and it will sell well, because it's affordable and Widely more available. But my 7+ will serve me accordingly until I can purchase the iPhone X. If that means I have to wait much longer than anticipated , then I am willing to do so.

1. How am I ripping them off? If they can't afford it they can wait or settle for an android lol

2. Keeping a product out of their hands? Well, if they really want it then they should wait in the wee hours of 3am too to place the order just like I'm planning to do. Maybe they can be lucky to get a hands on them. I'm not saying and there's no guaranteed stock for me but it's not my fault if they decide to order late and the stock is gone. They are SOL.

You’re ripping them off by taking a place in line to get stock and then selling it to people who are desperate. Now I think it’s a bad decision on the part of the buyer and if people were patient and didn’t pay exorbitant markups it would cut scalpers off at the knees, but that doesn’t mean flipping is a-okay and wonderful.

It’s legal, but it’s crappy and gross. You do what you want but I say a pox on all flippers and scalpers.

Yes I'm taking a place in line that is my place. Lol

Completely false. EBay is not the safest method and even suggesting this as fact is daft. There's more fraud on eBay then any other third-party selling site in comparison to selling in person. There are way to many loop holes for an honest seller to be easily frauded. I would suggest researching before you suggest what is the 'safest method'.
