Honestly, I'm betting this isn't called the 8, but is just a special edition (10 year anniversary). The only way I see them keeping a 7s LCD and releasing a single model as oled without the gen marketing as a special edition.

With that being said, I'll wait until they have a larger oled screen. Given the dedicated space for the home button, I imagine there'd be less overall real estate compared to my 7+.

Of course I'd expect quite a few quality issues as this will be the most ambitious release since the original iPhone.

I think I'll stick with my 6s till I can't update iOS which should be years of happy surfing and UHD filming.

Yeah, a bit more bite from me than normal.

I get tired and frustrated with these Chicken Little, the Sky is Falling, posts after a while though, particularly when OP has a track record.

And I hate the tone, which presents rumor as fact despite there being no product at the moment.

I just don't like being told what my reality is when it hasn't even happened yet.
If you tell the OP the moon landing was faked, they'd believe it as well.

OP only posts articles to get people worked up. It's a bit of a pattern to say the least.

The website is called MacRumors, what do you expect users to be held to a higher standard, fact based evidence backed threads only.?

Why do people take the internet serious like it's their job ? Like they are internet police. It's all in good fun.

It's not about someone being 'like they are internet police'. It's about your quite ridiculous assumption the next iPhone is going to be plagued by problems and telling people to stay clear for another year when the 8s will have everything fixed.

Yes, it's good to talk and speculate about upcoming products. But being all doom and gloom about something that's had no official information or suggestion it's going to have real problems is stupid.

What happens if all is great and in a year there's rumours the 8s will have big troubles? You going to avoid that as well? Nothing is perfect but if we all took your approach, we'd never buy anything.

Oh and your suggestion in another thread to buy cheap items from the Apple Store & return them as preparation for buying an iPhone made me lol

We have fact-based evidence that supports the rumored features of the 2017 iPhone.

When a person who has various sources in the supply chain is given information that the next iPhone will have an OLED display that is nearly bezeless. That's a fact-based piece of evidence.

It will probably be on time, but of course limited like crazy. I really think they are trying to push a little too hard to change the usual S year cycle. The original 2 year cycle with hardware changes one year, upgrades on internals “the S year” being the other, was perfect to me.

They just don’t have the same leadership that could pull water from stone, the term we can’t was countered with you can, and you will. I can’t imagine just how crazy he would have went with all the delays on Apple Park, at the current rate I don’t think Steve Jobs theater will even be ready by next March.:p

Yeah, but you're the guy who finds the tiniest flaws (real or imagined) in his phone. Sorry, but I can't take you seriously. You could wait for the 8SSSSS and you'd be posting new threads on all the flaws it has that we ourselves can't find.

I think you got the OP mixed up with Alexrat1996.
The only difference is that one at least waited until AFTER he had his devices to make mountains out of molehills. OP prefers the preemptive strike 6 months beforehand I suppose.

So its no secret Apple is having it's share of problems with the IPhone 8 more on that later. New credible leaks such as the customs intercept confirm Rear Home Button just gross and what will be in place is a pseudo Home Button under the OLED Display. They clearly could not get this right.
On top of that Apple is not including the latest Generation LTE Gigabit Radio due to its tiffy with Qualcomm.

From the tone and sentiment of threads here Customers are Hyped for the IPhone 8 quillty as charged here myself.

Now we get more leaks that show it has Bezels all around, Now if accurate IMO looks worse than the Galaxy S8.

Now, they are at a point where they are playing catchup to Samsung and are behind in design and features think about that for a second. Coupled with yet Unknown Production problems you know will crop up such as and I can just imagine the Thread titles now. "Does your IPhone 8 gets weaker signal than your 7 Plus?" Or "What's wrong with my OLED Display" etc etc.

Multiplied by incredibly difficult to buy the iPhone will be significant beyond history shortages.

All that makes it very likely the wise choice will be to take a wait and see attitude until early quality control issues are ironed out. And through Reviews and done.

Nothing hurts like dropping $999 + tax and getting a bum device only to find out there won't be new stock until March 2018.

See please wait till next year so you do not get in my way this September!

What happened to Alexrat1996? I thought he went to Venezuela to visit . . . . .uh no.

Buy it and try it....Judge for yourself

Many of the stories are fake news and just an excuse to right a news story

There's no question that the next one will be more refined. But that doesn't mean that this one is garbage

Rear home button. Hilarious.
