Notice how I didn’t say a solitary word about Bloomberg’s integrity. All I said was that if it’s an attempt to manipulate AAPL southward, it sure isn’t working. Besides, if Bloomberg’s integrity is so far down the toilet, why even care if they try to manipulate the stock with a purportedly negative story?

AAPL’s now up over 2% for the day, by the way.
Attempts to manipulate stock usually fail. I never said it would succeed so I don’t know why you think it’s relevant that it’s not 🤷‍♂️ I fully expect Apple to recover yesterday’s 9 point loss.

As I said, Bloomberg is not a credible source; this article is pre-conference call FUD, nothing more. A transparent attempt at price manipulation. That’s my opinion and you don’t have to like it. Nothing you’ve said leads me to reconsider any of those statements. Try harder?

Lol. Probably because these “attempts” usually don’t actually happen, just like this wasn’t, except in the minds of puppets.

If it were an analyst at a bank publishing this, sure, you could claim it was an attempt at manipulating stock to their benefit and it’d at least make some modicum of sense. They’re not required, ethically or otherwise, to disclose their interests and can write a research article about any way they want with about as much drivel as they want. Not so for journalists, but you’re welcome to try harder.

Stupid. Who gives a **** if the iPhones lame update comes a months late. Lives are at stake!

I liked your post because people's lives are more important than a digital device, but why did you need to include the words "lame update"? Curious minds want to know. Are you one of those than thinks a smaller ~4" screen is lame? What if the next "awesome update" was affected? Would you have chosen different words?

This was Samsung's desperate attempt to give the iPhone a virus... but once again, they messed up and real people are affected.

Bloomberg and Macrumours should be ashamed of themselves for publishing this article.Lives are more important than the production of a smartphone.Disgraceful !

Are you implying that there’s going to be people working at the assembly lines until they drop dead?
Wake up! That makes no sense!

And virus or no virus, people still need to eat, pay rent and keep living. Therefore, they need to keep working.
If the plant closes (unless there’s a life threatening reasons for it), people will have no jobs and starve.

The China gravy train isn’t going to last forever. Time to invest in manufacturing at home.

Robots working on USA soil with tax payer incentives and subsidies and only few highly skilled employees. Yep that sure is going to create many jobs and boost the economy. Robots have already been tested and used in China and other developing nations for electronic production for large and rapid producers.

Perfectly legitimate article. Epidemics / Pandemics have economic impact and its fine to discuss it. Doesn’t change the human element, but that chat channel is somewhere over there .... ->

Or India.

Economics is not a zero-sum game, I wish more people could grasp that concept.

Both Apple and China benefit from making iPhone's in China. China gets the benefit of labor for their emerging economy. And Apple (the rest of the world) gets cheaper goods resulting in Apple making el grande profits.

It's not dirty, it's not evil. It's mutually beneficial.

You lost me at puppet lol. Do you really think an ad hominem attack helps your case? Is that what you’re now reduced to? Yikes.

In any case, your argument is not persuasive. Probably, usually don’t happen? Try harder.

coronavirus infected about 8000 and killed 170

so the flu killed 0,1% of all infected people and coronavirus 2,2%. Only going to get worse since there is no medication

Also china is probably hiding information so the situation is very likely much worse than reported

There’s some right-wing TV news, radio and/or website(s) spreading this talking point, that the Corona virus is no big deal because the flu kills more.

I’ve heard the same claim parroted by many different people. Not sure where this talking point is coming from, maybe someone knows.

China are the modern Nazi Germany, they are not telling us the whole story. I believe the situation is quite critical. But we'll see. It's already been officially recognised as a national emergency
