T-Mobile President Jon Freier today shared real-world photos of Apple's boxes for the iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 models, which launch on Friday.

Apple has typically included iPhone box renders in its product environmental reports, but it did not do so for the latest models. However, Apple's iPhone Upgrade Program page does offer some images of the boxes, which we have shared below.

Are you the type of person who collects Apple boxes, or do you get rid of them right away?

I wish they'd do another iPhone 6 like box where it didn't have a picture of the phone. It was just an embossed shape of the phone coming out of the box. They should do that again, with an emboss of the iPhone, and of the camera bump 👹
I could see them doing some sort of embossed holographic/foiled shape, reminiscent of the iPhone 6 box, for the 20th anniversary "glass slab" iPhone.

I put them in the recycling bin! If felt like I might want to see them, I could just take a picture, but never felt the need, it is a box. I actually still have some of the Apple stickers that we previously included.

🙋🏻‍♂️ Box saver here… I keep my retired iPhones (4, 5s, and X) in them. Usually around this time of year, for nostalgia’s sake, I’ll power them on and charge them… sometimes there’s still a security update for iOS 16 on the X. I have iPad and Mac boxes in my basement as well.

I keep boxes of expensive items. It’s tough to imagine throwing them away right after unboxing. The absolute epitome are “people” who throw away their iPhone box in front of an Apple Store, I’ve seen them in trash cans in front of my store.

I think it’s boring and cheap that the box art is the same as the main product and ad pics.
