So I thought I create this post for those who will be loving the iPhone air when it arrives in people’s hands this friday. Please leave your comments of joy and iPhone air selfies in this section and comment how much you appreciate the iPhone air etc. never in my life have I seen so many posts about an iPhone that’s not even been released in people’s hands yet.

Anyways positive vibes only here enjoy your new purchase when you get it 🙂

It’s made me not go with a pro max for the first time in years. When I look at how I use my phone day to day I think it’s going to be a great match. I’ll find out if I’m right starting this Friday!

I am the same. I have the iphone 16 pro and to be honest never used all the pro camera features or anything. Always went for pro models.

I will most likely see the air in person on saturday and decide then if i want to trade my iphone with apple and get the air or not. However that blue just looks so gorgeous haha i think it’s like the sky blue of the mba. 🙂

Wow 8. If i do get the air i am going caseless and will just get the bumper and screen protector and Apple Care plus. I am just hoping it’s not as wide as the xr. I mean i have the xr as a spare and when I compare it to my 16pro the xr is wider to hold for me.

The Air (74.7 mm) is 1 mm narrower than the iPhone XR/11 (75.7 mm).

I’ll be testing the Air at least for the 14 day return period. Coming from a 15P I know how to top off the battery during the day.

Normally I’m a sucker for Air type devices because I use zero ‘pro’ features but I feel like something is going to be off with this phone. It could be the mono speaker, the weight distribution, the inevitable heat, the hand feel…there’s bound to be something so I’m not biting.

The influencers hyped it too much so I’ll wait for the flood of “10 problems with Air” videos or the inevitable honeymoon phase is over reviews after the return period.

I'm actually a little jealous.

Gone with the 17 Pro Max (after initially choosing the Pro). But the only reason I need a "Pro" is the superior camera system.

Everything else about the Air I really like/prefer - the titanium body, the colours and obviously the thinner/lighter design, not to mention it has the perfect screen size between the Pro and Pro Max.

I share some of those concerns but I’m remaining optimistic. I’m just happy that Apple is trying something different with the Air. A 6.5” screen that is less than 6 ounces is what intrigues me the most. People who like the heavy devices because they feel “premium” got the Pro/Pro Max models, for those who like lighter devices we now get something.

This is the “Air Appreciation” thread, not the “Air Sow Seeds of Dissension, Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt” having said that, I agree with you 100%

I know, I know ha. I’m trying and I literally just talked myself into it so I pre-ordered one 5min ago and we’ll see.

So can you rock this without a case with the new Ceramic Shield on the back? Of course that doesn't help with the drops really. But it might help in general.

(will appreciation turn ugly?)

I have a 15 Pro Max, and if I decide to upgrade the air is more tempting than another Pro. Kind of hard to explain why, but I think the phrase "a certain je ne sais quoi" really fits. It's the first iPhone that has felt "new" to me in quite a while. I like the thinner form factor as I always carry my phone in a front pocket. The weight of my phone has been creeping up for years, and a major reduction would be appreciated.

Battery life for me is not a concern as I charge to 80% every night and never run short. I don't care about stereo speakers as long as the single speaker is loud enough for an occasional speaker phone call. The camera is a question for me--will wait for reviews. Still tempted!
