I mean come on. I've never had the problem of positioning my airpods on my wireless charger.
Has everyone forgotten magnet polarity? The iPhone and AirPods cases can both charge with MagSafe, meaning they have embedded magnets with the same polarity, meaning that they repel each other. The MagSafe battery was designed to attach to the iPhone, meaning it has opposing polarity and is attracted to the iPhone and AirPods magnets.

Anyone know the thickness of the magsafe battery for iPhone air? For all the early hands-on reviews no one seems to have mentioned this. The closest I've seen is The Verge who reckon it's 'definitely thicker than the phone itself'.

I have an Air on order and will probably get a slim magsafe charger for it. As I see it, the Anker Nano magsafe pack is 0.3" / 8.6mm thick. Unless the official Apple one is thinner then I see no reason whatsover to pay 2x (and some) the price for a lower capacity battery.

I'm moving from a 15 Pro which has attrocious battery life (much worse than my brother's 15 Pro) so the Air on it's own it probably going to be an improvement for me.
