iPhone and Mayan calendar

I'm not sure how anyone can take the view the the pace of technological development is slowing! To be it is blindingly obvious that it is increasing, and increasing rapidly.
 
The Mayan calender never predicted the end of the world..it just stops there..It has been folks merely putting there own interpretation into the whole mayan calendar but none of those theories came from the mayan people.
 
i just wanted a discussion on technological advancement and said what i wanted to say over the mayan calendar and it was the mayan calendar perceived in a different way based just upon what i "heard". My main point was the future of technology and iPhone. As i've said in the first post. I feel like we need a next big thing like internet or electricity to advance on.

But so many people discussing mayan calendar lol. I didn't try to mean that the world was going to end. But anyways, thanks for all your comments everyone. Here's the one different thread that comes up every once in a while.
