    Hi

I'm looking for an iPhone app that I can use to track distance while I run, that does not require a data plan, as I don't have data on my iphone.

    Thanks!

Nike+? It uses the accelerometer as a pedo-meter to track how much you've walked and calculate a distance. Nike+ also links via Bluetooth to Nike+ accessories which also work toward this.

If you want a good tracking system, GPS then, but you would have to have data in order to get the maps and actually see how far you went.

Which iPhone? The 3GS has a built-in Nike+ receiver. All you need is the sensor that goes in your shoe.
