All iPhones are made in China. There are no mass produced cell phones made in the US.

They are assembled in China, you didn't get a fake phone. Unless all the iPhones are fake

They are all assembled in China, no matter where you buy them. It's genuine.

I believe that the iPhone is manufactured in China. Their computers are as well.

Yes, the iPhone is designed in California and built in Shenzhen, China by a company called Foxconn.

It is okay. Best Buy would only sell real Apple products.

Guess you'd better not buy any Apple products at all... All of my Apple computers were made in China.

I was joking. He's now started a new thread on how to jailbreak his 3GS. He wants step-by-step instructions.

He is against buying chinese products? then i guess you can't buy much of anything in the entire world because everything id made there.

There should be a SIM card INSIDE the phone. In the sim tray, where it belongs.

Ah, a silver lining to this thread. However, are there any products made in the USA any more?

I think you should strike cars from that list, and maybe even planes.

Actually they are only assembled in Shenzhen. The factory is owned by Foxconn in Shenzhen China, The final iPhone is assembled in Shenzhen from parts and partial assemblies from US, Taiwan, Japan and also China suppliers.

The actual company is Hong Fu Jin Precision Industry, part of the FOXCONN Technology Group.
