iPhone AppleCare on Ebay....?

You must buy Applecare where you live (you have to register AC with your home address). You can't buy Applecare in the states and use it in India for example.

I bought AppleCare for my iMac off eBay; the iMac was purchased directly from Apple here in Japan. I had no problems activating it.

Yeah I have AppleCare on all my devices, all but one have been purchased on eBay. No trouble activating them or using em. I live in NC, I did have to use my old address in California to register them. Funny thing is the one AppleCare I actually bought at the Apple store here in NC had to be registered the same way.

I've also bought my applecare from eBay and haven't had any issues with it.

why dont they offer Applecare in FL again??

They do but because of a FL State Law, you have to buy it directly from an Apple retail store or via an authorized FL agent since it is an extended warranty.

Simular issue in NC.
