full_charge in the morning. Then, played 7 video songs from youtube, make one 2 min call, 1 small SMS. battery remaining 20%

OLED is REQUIRED !!!!!!!!!

Dude, ENOUGH about OLED. There will not be OLED in the next update. In fact, unless your iphone's screen was on the entire time, it was not the culprit that ran down your battery. Every freaking topic and you are there spouting nonsense about OLED. Give it a rest.

one day, kept the iphone on chrging for whole night, only 70% charge!!!!!

Well I was getting pretty good battery results until now: 1 day, 20hrs standby. 2 hours, 30 mins use and I just got the 10% battery alert and then the phone turned off.

What should I do ??? My battery life stinks now. I used to not have to charge it for like 4-5 days and now it runs down if I make 1 call or text a few people.

Should I send it in or what???

How can you measure the usage time?

Hi,

I'm having a hard time to figure out how to actually measure the usage time. I've got a brand new iPhone, and my last info:

Usage Time 10 hours 30 minutes
Standby 1 day 4 hours
Talk Time 28 minutes

Down to 10% remaining

So, is this good or bad? Don't know. I've watched a video for about 2 hours and listened to the music for 4 hours. Wifi turned on for 1 hour (Fring, Safari, Mail). Brightness set to 25% all the time.

I'm not really happy with it. It means I have to charge every other day. :-(

Well, as I'm not happy with it, I'm considering Clean Restore. Is it gonna help? It's a pain to do everything again, jailbreak, 3rd party apps install... But if it helps, I'll do it!

Should I?

Thanks.

David

iPhone 4 Battery Draining pretty fast

You guys are lucky... My iphone battery is discharging pretty fast. May be its a faulty battery.

I charged my battery overnight it was 100%. I switched off bluetooth, wifi, push notifications. only 3G is on. Screen brightness is 20% and auto brightness is off. Still after surfing websites for 5 mins (most of it was text) and making calls for around 10 mins...by battery life is down to 85%. By end of day, though I do not use phone much... it gets below 20%.

With same usage, my old iPhone 3g(not 3gs) use to last longer......
