Iphone capacity bump, due to nano?

I don't know if any of you read gizmodo, but they found something interesting which rather changed my mind about the possibility of an iPhone nano.

The article's about 'fake' or 'copied' version of an iPhone nano. I think it sounds pretty logical that a chinese manufacturer would be copying an actual apple product.
I don't know about the form factor, but still..

My point is, if manufacturers are jumping to this idea, making their own - who's to say Apple won't make one?
I'm not thick, please don't treat me as thick.
