I have the Owle bubo and some Zeikos 37mm filters and am loving it! I ran across a cheap video stabilization app for the iPhone a while back before I got my bubo and it works very well. It does a great job stabilizing video with and without the Owle attached. It's called SteadyLens and I believe it only cost me $2.99. Way cheaper than getting a Steadicam Smoothie. It digitally stabilizes video so it cuts off a little bit of the video resolution but it's not a big deal to me. It makes videos soooo much smoother. Plus it also takes out the annoying rolling shutter effect that plagues the iPhone's. It does it's processing in real time. You can also turn off the stabilization feature and just keep the rolling shutter part turned on. The Owle and SteadyLens are a perfect combo! I can't wait to try out zoom lenses and other lenses on my bubo :)

Wonder how well Final Cut Pro X will handle camera shake + rolling shutter, compared to an App like SteadyLens?

Add Capta to your list..

I LOVE using my iphone 4 for videos and photos and have been searching for a good tripod. I just backed this one on kickstarter called "Capta" because it works with all my apple devices and my wifes android and her nano camera too so i don't have to shell out for more accessories because we have different phones...phew! Plus its a stand for movies and helps to manage your cables too. My concern with tripods was steady filming and being able to film in all kinds of crazy angles and use with different camera accessories - this looks like it holds at any angle both of our phones so it will work for us.

They also did this pretty cool pool video and strength test with an iphone 4 that sold me...plus i like that it doesn't look like anything else out there and fits in your pocket. Looks like it will work well with all the lens clip ons and attachments i plan to buy soon.
