I don't see why anyone would complain about monthly fees if they are buying a $600 phone. I would imagine the iPhone will be over $100 a month once you factor in voice time and a data plan.

I don't use the internet on a phone so therefore I will just stay with carrying a RAZR and an iPod Nano. Sure all my friends won't go...WOW...look at how cool he is with his iPhone, but once you turn 30 things like that don't matter anymore.
 
No, that's for unlimited broadband cellular data (which the iPhone does not support) PLUS paid Wi-Fi hotspot access with whatever partners AT&T has chosen.

Smartphone unlimited data plans typically run $30-$50.

I bet it's $40/month - high for EDGE speeds, but after all the iPhone is a premium product.
