Iphone 3gs will cost me next to nothing.

I am no eligible for an early upgrade to the iphone 3gs till march 2010. My upgrade price would be $400. On the other hand if I get a new line and cancel my old one it would be $200 for the phone plus $110 for the ETF. Total 310. A $90 difference. My current 3g will sell for a minimum of $300. I almost come out even.

You could, but then I'm pretty sure you would have to change your cell phone number. Though there's really not that much improvement for the 3GS over the 3G unless you play games or care a lot about the upgraded camera (which was my selling point).

Also if you wait until March, you'll come out ahead $100 instead of down $10.
