the only time apple made a mistake was with that inductive charging pad that they announced it official, and then remove it entirely. When im sure im sure, i am also watching very careful how cad are made, and also Gurmans verbal communication, its different when he has inside sources and is 100% sure. Also he said that next year Apple will release smart glasses, not AR glasses but smart glasses.

The cool stuff always ships slightly later. The 18 Pro/Max are easy, but the folding model will need extra attention at the assembly and QA level.

Don't know whether it will ship at a later date. However very possible that it could be a staggered launch and only a handful of countries will get it initially with a new set of countries getting it around 2 to 4 weeks later.

Makes sense since the Pro Max is the best selling iPhone. Need to get those phones out and sales booked. The Fold is going to be a genuine 1st gen "early adopter" item for status seekers only given its projected price and no zoom camera. Those that want one will be willing to wait.

I’m skeptical that the fold as well as this touchscreen MacBook will come out any time soon. I figure that we would have a better idea when ios27 and MacOS27 are unveiled. Because the fold would probably have some kind of multitasking we haven’t seen in the phone before and I’d imagine a touchscreen MacBook would require a change in MacOS to make touch easier

Depends on the nature of the post. In this case yes , it's usually different sources. But the "what's new with iOS 26.3" posts get milked out so bad

Even if Apple does plan to ship the iPhone Fold after September, we can still expect to see it introduced during the annual iPhone event that will feature the iPhone 18 Pro models. Apple will likely announce all three phones at once, and then bring them to customers when they're ready.

I'd bet good money that iPhone Fold will be on iOS27.1 or 27.2 and same for support for the touch MacBook Ultra. Not going to spill the beans at WWDC...
