you need to get one of those placstic cover thingy's. That was first on your iphone. Get like a bunch of those.

I've had my iphone for about 3 months now and it still looks like it just came out of the box

just beautiful

I have a scratch on my screen its a little smaller then a quarter of an inch long but its pretty deep. I can feel it when I run my finger nail over it. Also I have no idea how it got there.

I thought about getting a screen protector but it almost seems like a waste of money. Anything that is strong enough to scratch the iPhone screen will surely go right through a piece of plastic.

This is my thought as well.

Although it is very difficult to scratch the glass, it is most definately not scratch proof. I have about 3 scratches on my phone. It is VERY annoying because of the light refraction.

I don't think Apple ever called the glass scratch proof but rather scratch resistant. Also the texture of glass will vary with some iPhones

Well I was singing the praises of the iPhone screen to my Dad on Friday night, when we were discussing protection for his new iPod Touch.

I awoke on Saturday morning to a nice fresh scratch on the screen of the iPhone, about 1cm long. :(

I have no idea what caused it, but now I know that it can be scratched.

Maybe it was your dad

Those who should know, such as mineralogists and industrial engineers, have stated that of course the iPhone glass can be scratched... even by sand left in your pocket.

As everyone says, a screen protector is a necessity. (Some also seem to hold down the fingerprint problem as well.)
