Hi. Did you ever receive the gloves? I ordered a pair Dec 2nd and have inquired twice about if I will get them before Christmas and no response. I've also searched for their phone number and no luck. Any helpful tips? Thanks.

This thread is a bit old and I'd ordered them in 2009 and have since received them. :p However, I was not happy with them at all. They've since changed the style of these gloves since then but I would not buy them again. I now have a pair of Isotoner smarTouch gloves and they work very well and are warmer than my North Face fleece gloves – I'd recommend these instead.

Do you need all the fingers to work with the phone? How often do you use something other than you thumb or index finger to operate your screen?

Depends...on my iphone its rare that I'd need anything other than index/thumb...however on the ipad with its multigesture stuff it would be nice if an updated etip came out with all fingers functional :)

Outdoor Research has a pair that works. They are $65 dollars though. I tried them on at REI. They do work.... My girl nixed the buy. I'll get them when she isn't watching! I forget the style code, should be easy enough to get from their site....

The Mujjo ones are only €25 euro and shipment to the US €3.50 euro.

I can't imagine why you'd need gloves for your iphone. i'd probably just use a stylus. if it's for winter, i'd imagine the gloves too thick.

So it's 2012 so what is flavor of the year? Etips are on stock but at $45 they are taking the piss

Saw a pair at Target earlier today (New York)--didn't think to check the price--I'll take pics and post the price later today. Tried 'em on--not too thick, can't speculate on how warm they'd be though.

i use Agloves. they work very well. they are a knitted glove with silver threads throughout so all your fingers are conductive.
you obviously lose some accuracy with any gloves on, but you get used to it after a while. and they are priced pretty well at $20 for the orig design (fairly light) but even their heaviest duty model is only $35.
the lighter versions work well in mild weather but double as a liner glove in colder weather so even though you take your outer glove off to use the phone, you still have a layer on so your hands don't get as cold.

the only downside i've noticed so far is that my wife's wedding ring tends to snag on the knitted material. though that happens with any knitted glove.

Target has them for $19.99 but they also have the stretchy really cheap ones that HAVE TOUCH IN THEM for $3!! I tried them out and they work. Definitely cheapest I have ever seen :)

which version do you use?

The sport ones look good... not sure how warm they will keep in the worst of winter (although the coldest I ever experience is usually 0-20 F )

i have the original version and my wife has the natural (bamboo).
like i said, they are fairly light weight - nice for the cool 35-45 degree mornings/days we have been having lately. this is my first season with them, so i don't know how warm they will feel as it gets colder. but, they are thin enough to use as liner gloves as well.

Was able to pick up North Face eTip's last year through REI, I believe. Even got them on sale. It's been frigid since SuperStorm Sandy around here, so I've just been wearing my Denali gloves and holding off on iPhone related activity outside (for the most part).

My E-Tips are a well used solution, although they have graduated to running glove status this winter so I had to hunt down a less sweaty alternative. I found these wooly gloves from Muji, other colours & styles available. They are more subtle than the demarked fingers on the E-Tips, and are nice and warm too. The price doesn't hurt either.
