I looked into this a couple of years ago, ProtectYourBubble seemed the best on paper but online reviews said they weren't good at paying out.
Has that changed?

I've never heard good things about them, it seems that they go all out to find reasons not to pay out. I wouldn't use them.

Can you satisfy my curiosity?

When was Glasgow made the capital of Scotland?

I recently went with them after a long and arduous search for insurance, their reviews have certainly improved dramatically over time, and as with all insurance companies, you aren't going to get 100% happy customers

I just bought mine from Squaretrade ... £99 for 2 years ... seems fair enough.

What's the excess charge on square trade.

The excess appears to be £50 per claim.

Doesn't seem to be a very good option, it doesn't include theft cover according to their website.

Not really insurance then, more an extended warranty.

We do not cover loss, theft, willful damage or damage occurring through gross misuse.
