it was rumored that the iPhone has 2 batteries. one for the iPod and another for the phone itself. do you guys know if this is a fact?

i hope i did not hijack the thread.

The iphone is like buying an itouch and getting a phone and camera for free

My wife just got an iphone. Originally she was going to get the 16g itouch because she was so amazed by it in the apple store. But since she was no longer under a phone contract, it made sense to pay an extra $20 a month for a new phone contract and get internet and email almost anywhere (as opposed to having to be within an open wifi network).

After she bought it, she goes: "I can't believe I paid $400 for a phone." I told her she basically got an itouch with a phone and camera for free. Yes I understand the itouch has 8 more gigs.

I think apple was brilliant in coming up with the itouch. It make for paying $400 for a iphone seem like a deal. Now I really want one.

Get the iphone.

I, too, would LOVE to have an iPhone but it has no coverage where I live.
My hubby bought one because AT&T shows up in our area, but it's though partnerships. He was so incredibly disappointed.
But I have an iTouch 16g and I absolutely love it.
