My mom , dad, and I share the same iTunes and Apple ID. I’ve had phones before on the same Apple ID and iTunes and this has never happened. I get my moms messagses. Like they were sent from my moms phone. we have different numbers but when I send her a message and she replies it looks like I sent it to myself. This has never happened before until I updated my phone to IOS 11. This doesn’t happen with my dad. Only my mom and I. It’s happens before but we’ve been able to fix it. Please help. I’ve signed out of iCloud and everything.

Settings —> messages —> send and receive and then select the proper phone numbers and email addresses. Or make separate Apple ID’s

Settings > imessage > send receive

It's common for these to reset to all during an update. Review this panel on all devices. Then turn on only those addresses/numbers that relate to that person/device.
