Too late. Galaxy s3 is killing ****.
Apple need to announce the 5 asap.

I'd prefer August over October.

If it is revealed on 8/7 that means the launch will be late August or early September.

Then the question becomes what about the refreshed iMac, and iPod line? Will those also be shown or will they get their own reveals in Q4?

Nah. Keynote October 2, phone released on October 12. And iOS 6 released October 10.
