With all the reports that apple did increase production and still couldn't even supply 7+ stock to most locations world wide, I would say they are doing just fine. I will however add that I think part of the 7+ availability going away has to do with the crap the IUP people pulled. I could almost guarantee in their contract it said something along the lines of, "upgrading after 12 installments may vary by availability." Come on, it isn't Apple's first rodeo. They know how these launches work. I think that people saw delivery dates slip purely based on stock moving to supply these IUP people first. Which also isn't right. First come, first serve.
And why are the IUP people getting treated better than anyone else who got onto an installment agreement with their carrier? I have been on installments with my carrier since they started offering it. Before IUP even existed. It isn't right.
